Here's where to tie into the wiring for 12 volts, battery power, always on, it's the red wire on this plug and the ground is soldered to one of the steel tabs that are all over our rigs, a screw would work also. I'm into a project the need the switched power, on with the key, and when I find it, I'll photo and post it.

Thank you for the input.

I was at Joyner in Tempe yesterday to get the new rear drive line installed. I spent a day trying to get the front half of the drive shaft off the transmission and finally gave up. It was a REAL struggle for them also. To put the new shaft in they had to loosen the rear differential. It was something I never could have done. It took an air torque wrench to get the thing loose.

While there I found out about a power source for my GPS and it is as you suggested the red wire off the ignition switch.

While there I met an engineer that's now working with Joyner to improve their cars. I sent him the URL for this board telling him there's a lot of good information here. I also met John the owner of Joyner. He gave me some brochures to take with me to the Outlaw ATV Jamboree in Eagar Arizona. I will be working at the Jamboree helping with the field events.

Thank you very much for the picture. I'm sure it's something others can use considering all the things we like to add to our machines.

All I need now is a Lowrance Globalmap 540c to add to my Trooper.

Did they charge you to remove/install the new driveline? How did they get it out?

Don't need no stinkin GPS! Never get lost! LOL!

I will be adding a 12V cig. outlet for a portable airpump.

You need to get out, not more, but further, like into Utah :D , and go places where you can get lost and do some exploring. I love to go see what I've never seen before, love my GPS too, but then again, I'm a gadget person.

Hay, I am like Tim Allen of Tool Time. I trust my iron buggers. There was an episode where he got lost in his '55 Nomad and his wife wanted him to ask of directions. He wouldn't because he said his Nose Buggers were made of Iron and always pointed him North. How could I ever get lost?

      2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
      Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
      Green with purple stripe - hazards?
      Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
      There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
      Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.

      Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it. 
      Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming. 
      Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light. 
      Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?

      I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

      Hello. I have a 2016 Massimo MSU 500. I was putting on a lightbar and i screwed up and didn't disconnect the battery so when i was taking of the positive cable to put on the power from the lightbar it sparked and now the utv has no power. I turn the key over and all i hear is a chirp. No lights or anything. Everything that comes from the battery to the jumper box up by the battery shows voltage but anything coming out does not such as to the winch or anything like that
