The steering delivery tube running from the pump to the steering controller below the steering wheel has fractured due to rubbing on a sharp steel flange.  I would like to replace the tube and I am hoping someone reading this has actually done the job.  To get to the point that I have identified the problem I have had to do a great deal of disassembly.  The manual implies I must take off the roll cage, the rest of the body, the steering wheel and the dashboard.  Is this really necessary?

The manual also suggests bleeding the steering without detailing how this is achieved.  Does anybody know how to do this?

This sub forum is not very active.  That's good or bad depending on how you look at it, I suppose.  I have not encountered the issue your are describing with my Kubota.  However, I did encounter something similar in my prior UTV.  I did have to remove the body to get to the areas needed for repair.

Good luck.  I can give you the number of my Kubota dealer.  They are always very helpful with DIY issues.

It is looking like the removal of the remainder of the cab is not too complex. Having taken so much apart to get to identify the leak, going further when assistance is available will be within my capabilities.  I will need to discover how to bleed the power steering as the manual only tells you to do it, not how.

If I were buying another UTV it would not be a Kubota. Unnecessary complexity everywhere. Ridiculously expensive parts.  Stratospheric annual servicing costs if you use the dealer. Looks like I am stuck with this until I retire as I am 70 now. I got it at 2 years old and it had just had major work on the transmission, having been used by boy racers.  The last 8 years have been sedate but I have had to change a front drive shaft and other small items.  The steering delivery hose failing because of a design issue would have been totally predictable to Kubota. They probably thought it would be a revenue stream for their dealer servicing network.

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!

Can anyone please tell me or send a link as to how & where to hook up a code reader to my 2021 Hisun 500 Axis.  I have a 6 pin to a 18 pin  adaptor and the blue cord VAG KKL adaptor .Just not sure where or what to hook up to. Can I use your typical vehicle code reader or do I need to download something on a laptop or PC???

Anyone decent with electrical work that knows a good tutorial on how to make my running lights switch off all together but also turn back on when I need too? I'd assume that my lights are hard wired to the battery or the fuse panel.
Vehicle is a Kawasaki Krx 1000
I'm looking to ad IR driving lights for night vision and short of just putting black tape over the lights I feel this would be a more efficient option and it would be cooler.

Hello. I have a 2016 Massimo MSU 500. I was putting on a lightbar and i screwed up and didn't disconnect the battery so when i was taking of the positive cable to put on the power from the lightbar it sparked and now the utv has no power. I turn the key over and all i hear is a chirp. No lights or anything. Everything that comes from the battery to the jumper box up by the battery shows voltage but anything coming out does not such as to the winch or anything like that

2021 uforce 800  turning radius is awful .
I just bought it  added perfex lift
      And 1.5 wheel spacers
The turning radius was bad before the lift .
I looked for steering stops under the tie rod boots and steering knuckle for steering stops . Found nothing .
Are the stops inside the steering rack ?  Is there a replaced steering rack with longer throw to curb this issue ?
      Any suggestions?
