No power to parking lights

Recommended Posts

I have no power to my front & rear parking lights, which means no turn signals either…checked bulbs, all good, fuses good..could it be the flasher relay (module)….also, should I have power to all fuses in fuse box when ignition switch is on?

When the key switch is on you should have power to all the fuses.

You didn't specify a model. This is the lighting circuit diagram for the 400. The 550, etc should be similar if not identical.

If you don't get power to the fuses, and the batt is good1146788444_Screenshot_20220705-072724_SamsungNotes.thumb.jpg.fae7388ef22130ead10f93cd3f90cccb.jpg the keyswitch would be the first thing to check.

Getting power to some of the fuses, not all….my fuse box and fuse layout in my manual is not like what I actually have, so it’s hard to say which fuse sends power to each component…it seems that everything is functioning except the parking/turn signal lights front & rear….headlights & brake lights work, horn, gas gauge & parking brake warning horn all working as well as accessory outlet…very puzzling…where is the key switch physically located….I can’t read elec diagrams well.

p.s.   It’s the 400

According to the big wiring diagram for the UT400 "F2" controls  Brake/turn lights/parking drive alarm and speed limit.

So if your brake lights are working that fuse should be ok.

So from the fuse power goes to the flasher module, into the turn signal stalk and out to the flashers. Those wires are dk brown and dk green. The feed for the parking lights comes from the combo stalk switch but goes out the blue wire.(

The only place where this is all common is the black wire that runs from terminal 1 on the big connector on the fuse/relay box (see pic attached). That should be the ground to the turn/parking lights. I would check the continuity from the pin on the relay/fuse box to ground and also check with the lights switched on and key on and that wire disconnected there should be 12v between that wire and ground.

I had a problem 6-8 mo ago when the unit would not start . But you could see power on the dash. The starter solenoid was replaced and it has been fine until yesterday. When I started it up I noticed a high pitched noise coming from under the front. Like a alarmbuzz ..It seemed to drive fine so I went ahead and used it off and on for a hour or so . The noise would not go away . I parked it in the shed and lifted the hood . It seemed to be coming from the battery compartment ( where the new starter solenoid is) I jiggled the connections and the noise changed timbre and then the machine went dead. No power at all . No lights . When you cross the two poles on the starter solenoid ( previously last year it would start and run ) nothing. Checked the battery and it is fully charged . I checked the fuses inside the battery box and they all looked good  but I must be missing something. Anyone have a clue what I need to do next to R&R. The closest repair place is 2 hours away in Mississippi . Any help would be appreciated.

I have  2008 Cub Cadet Volunteer Tracker.  Was running fine, parked and next morning electric fuel pump inop.  Checked voltage had 4.2 volts.  Swapped relays in fuse box, checked all fuses (good) and still low voltage.   Does the ECU control the voltage to the fuel pump or which relay controls the voltage to the pump?
Have checked all wiring and not found any place it could be shorted (not saying I may have missed something). I am at a loss.  Need Help Please.

While troubleshooting an issue with temp warning light I discovered another temp switch mounted in the pipe going to the head  The two switches are literally 6 inches apart.  Does anyone know what this third switch is used for?  If i can figure out how I will post pictures.

Is it possible to add power steering?  If so where do I find parts?

Okay folks. I have a low power issue. Been like this for a few years. Place I work at bought 3 and all have lost most of the pulling power.  They gave them away after local shop worked on one for 3 months and it had great power for about 1 month and then crap. They replaced throttle body, fuel injector, spark plug and IAC motor. Seat belt switches have wires cut and left open so no seat belt warning light anymore. It revs to 6k rpm in neutral but when put in gear and take off in low it just doesn’t seem to want to go anymore. Running 93 octane fuel with Stabil.  Any ideas greatly appreciated. I dont have a scan tool but no codes on dash. If held to floor it pops a little and runs almost 5K rpm but if I let off pedal about an inch it smoothed out and revs up to 6k rpm.
