Hi Kurt

Have not talked and seen you on BN for awhile.

How is the T2 treating you now that you have had it for awhile.

Does your Bro still have the 650?

And yes, anyone that has been in Nevada for more than 20 years is considered a native. :P And what a fun place it is!

Welcome to UTV! George and I are also longtime Nevadans. Let us know if you ever want to get together for a day of Trooper fun, we have a T4 and are always happy to take it out and have some fun. We were suppose to go to Logandale this week-end but the rain but a damper on that. We're in Henderson.

Hi Jimmy....A knee replacement and work have put a bit of a dampner on my riding time....I have about 260 miles on it and have had no problems...My Bro-in law still has the 650 and he snapped a rear lower a-arm hitting an unexpected hardpack woop......

Looking forward to doing the Fox shocks like people are doing on here.....and maybe the 15" wheels w/BFG's for tires....

We were just out at Logandale and I got a pic....

Also have taken it in Duck Creek, UT area and was great on the trails....

Cinda & George, I'd like to get together...I live NW area....Like to ride to Mt Charleston Lodge when it's warmer....

rocmoc, I'm not sure about Moab but I am interested....Just gotta make sure work doesn't get in the way...

I hope that is not your clutch knee you may have to go for an auto trans. ;)

How does the Trooper compare to your LJ Tech since they have the same Chery 1100?

Jimmy,

The replacement was my clutch knee....lol....Much better now ....

The 1100 is a great motor...It pushes this heavy beast around pretty darn good....The LJ Tech was SO inferior in build, I was nervous every time I took it out..... I just didn't have the time to constantly work/fix it....This Joyner may be heavy but it has evolved to be much better than when you had one....

I am very happy with it, but I would still like a "sporty " 2wd buggy to thrash... Something like the Joyner 800 would be fun if price was lower....Actually most any of the single seat mini buggies would be a gas except for $$$$$.....

I tend to get into my "Rallye Car" fantasy when I am in the T2 alone...heh...I'd hate to wreck it and not have anything for my wife to enjoy....

I have a Hisun Sector E1 UTV.  Worked pretty good for a while but then started to run into issue with gear grinding noise.  Will not engage in forward or reverse.  When put into forward or reverse and press pedal can hear a whiring noise as if something is supposed to be engaging but is not.  Occasionally it will grab in jolt forward momentarily but then ceases.  No error warnings or codes given.  Due to money restrictions, I really need to fix this myself.  Has anyone had this problem and what could it be that is needed.  Any help is appreciated.  Thank you!

DO NOT BUY ANY THING FROM HISUN Period! I had the axis 700 for 2 months when a rat or squirrel ate both wiring harnesses. (Main & ECM)Wanna know why? Because the manufacture of these things in their infinite wisdom use either, a soybean oil or a peanut oil to run the wires through the the wire loom. Hmmm i wonder why they would be inclined to eat the wires. So now I have $10K machine that I've only had for 2 months when all this happened and they will not warranty it at all. It is going to cost me $800 to $1000 to get this fixed. Here is a link to a video showing where we took our Hisun notice how many are there:

So counting mine, there are 16 of Hisun Axis on the lot that i took in for authorized dealer, with the exact same problem, plus other troubles that the mechanic explained to me. This particular place told me they are not going to work on them anymore. I will be posting this in as many places as possible to reach the masses. I hope its worth Hisun!

Just bought a brand new 2022 (NOS) Sector E1 with Lithium upgrade. (Single 135ah/200amp continuous). I've climbed a moderate hill in my woods probably 20 times since buying it. Today It won't climb it unless I am in Low. In High it almost makes it and then completely dies and I have to roll back down the hill. In Mid range (Max Range) I can't get 2 feet up the hill and the power output in only 100 amps, I have climbed this hill in every speed before many times. I put it on the trailer tonight and it wouldn't even get on the dang trailer in mid range. Torque is gone. That being said, when I am just cruising around in Midrange, it runs absolutely perfect with plenty of power. The only thing I did was charge it up, that is all. I charged to 100% using the charger that came with the battery. Before you think the BMS is shutting down due to overcharge protection, remember I am going UP hill so there is no regeneration AND I have done it before at 100% charge AND another big problem is that after 1 mile it is already down to 85% so it's not over charging and why is the battery draining so fast when I got 27 miles before. Battery output is fine in Low it pulls 200 amp up the hill just like normal so that doesn't point to the battery being the issue. All the individual cells on the battery are in line, so there is no dead cell either. I am tech savvy but to toward electric motors and I tried to cover all my bases. Please don't tell me basics like torque is reduced in High and Mid. The only thing I can think of is that I smelled something when I took my first drive today and I thought it was the Ebrake dragging but there was the correct amount of play in the cable and I jacked up the rear wheels and they spin freely. maybe something burned out in the motor, I do not knowm still runs great, we'll see if I have any trouble on the hills at the lake house this weekend. Maybe this is "Normal" and the settings were off before and was giving equal torque for whatever reason instead of 50% in Mid and 70% in High like the manual says....
For reference....this is it not even able to get on the trailer in mid range
