  1. Yes for sure. If it needs a gasket I will have it done. I saw what it takes to do one and keeping everything straight with the timing looks like a nightmare.
  2. No it was fine. Drove it over 100 miles with no problem. I am thinkimg more and more you are right that it is a head gasket. Strange though I would think you would smell it in the exhaust.
  3. No i.warranty is only a year and I bought it used.
  4. Oh when it is circulating the fan does work but that is when the rad and hoses are hot.
  5. No the fan does not run because the rad and front hoses are cool. The rad cap seals tight but not sure how to check it. I am also not familiar with a leak down test. What is so strange is it I bleed it and it circulates. When I run it then it seems to not at high rpms and gets hot.
  6. Well when it first happened the radiator and hoses were cool so there was no flow. I fojnd when i pulled the bleeder screw on the thermostat type housing there was no water and it was super hot. I pulled the plug off the sensor on the housing and the light went out. Connected it back and light xame back on. I filled radiator and bled it and got flow again. I ran it and hoses and radiator got hot and fan started. I thought I had fixed it but after running it around for 10 minutes it got hot again. Checked and again no water at thermostat housing bleeder. Added water and rebled with flont end elevated. Again hoses got hot and fan came on and 10 minutes of running and same thing. Radiator and hoses cool again. I checked for leaks and all tight. Checked exhaust for smell of antifreeze and nothing. Checked oil for antifreeze and nothing. I am stumped. Engine starts and runs fine. No leaks found and seems to circulate water initially but then stops. I have a hard time believing its a water pump but I am runnkng out of ideas. Oh I also flushed radiator and lines and no obstructions found.
  7. Having same issue with my 750. I have flushed entire system and bled it over and over. It gets hot and no water in thermostat housing. I find no leaks, no water in oil, and no smell of antifreeze in exhaust. Thinking waterpump but its not leaking and thinking there is not anything in the pump to mess up.
  8. Good luck. I fixed mine 2 days ago and have run it hard up and down road and seemed good but have not hit trails yet which will be the real test.
  9. I had exactly same question. I bought mine used and had no issues. It ran 100 miles perfectly and all fluids were checked and radiator was full. What I found was it does not take much for it to become air bound. I once smelled antifreeze so went thru and tightened all clamps and checked for leaks with none found but I did find one clamp that I tightened a few turns so could have been sucking air. Good luck as I think the thermost is on the bottom and a bear to get to. You may want to try the bleeder first and see if it helps.
  10. Hey Joe I had the exact same problem with my 750. Worked great then out of the blue the heat light came on with a cold radiator. After alot of research and troubleshooting I found their is a bleeder screw on the housing on the driver side of engine on the hose housing and a second one down at the waterpump at the back of engine. I bleed the top one and 0 water. I went to the lower one(which is a nightmare to see and bled it and then went back to the top one and bam it now works great. As you are doing it you have to keep radiator full. My reserve was full the whole time but the trapped air didnt allow it to move. I included a pic I took with my cell as that was the only was to see it. The bleeder is the bottom right of flange.
  11. Hmmmm... interesting. I will take a look at doing that. I have read alot of ideas and will keep trying.

  13. Just wanted to pass along my little project after not finding any ready made accessories for adding a rear winch. I always say a front winch is to get others out of trouble. A rear winch is to get me out of trouble. I had my local steel shop bend up a rear bracket and integrated it into the rear frame of the machine. I extended the rear hitch and utilized the existing rear pin with the new bracket. The bracket bolts to existing holes on each side of frame and is super strong. I bought a 3500lb winch from Harbor Freight that matches the OEM front winch in all respects except the labels. I added a second corded remote to the dash and extended the power leads to reach the rear with the control box mounted with the front one. Total project cost was $225.
  14. Thanks. Craig out there is a wealth of knowledge and super helpful. I have to call him for some mounts to add an LED so will ask about it.
  15. Thanks for the information. Was the upgrade a warranty or recall or at your expense?
  16. Well that could be. I have seen other complaints about the noise. I dont have anything to judge it by. I am going to take it to the dealer and have him go through it. The machine is like new and Im getting 15 miles per gallon so it seems like engine is running efficiently.
  17. Hello everyone. I purchased a 2017 Challenger 750 eps Crew with 400 miles and find the exhaust noise is awful. I saw in another post chatter about a 2019 exhaust upgrade? Anyone have info on this? I also would like to know the typical RPMs for speed. I am running 4k at 20mph in hi range and it seems like it does not have the power I expected. So far I have added a custom mount rear winch, soft rear window and upgraded LED headligjt bulbs. I am looking for any other upgrades people have done.
