  1. there should always be power to the coil on 2 of the wires, assuming there's 4 and 2 of them are grounded, or ungrounded, by the ECU. the spark is created by the collapsing magnetic field when the coil is ungrounded.

  2. Hey my email isxxxxxxxxxxxxx yeah I found that but I'm not really good at reading those lol. The pink is the hot the purple is the starter dunno what the yellow is and whatever the other color is was the gauges. I pulled all my fuses changed relays around and they still wouldn't come on the left it alone for w days went back out there and the gauges started working again but now I'm not getting fire to my coil I think. Would you happen to know which one of the 3 wires to the coil is suppose to be hot?

  3. here's the schematic I used on my 08, I think yellow went to the starter solenoid, but it needed to be heavier to slam the solenoid plunger home, on a few occasions, I felt I was going to be stranded because I could hear it come in but not start, the cure was an interposing relay,

My self, I would copy and paste all the communications in the order they were created to a document and present that to Leafasia for comment and ask them to fix the problem, then if they won't, turn that into a post under a new name like someone won't honor order or something similar, but give a chance to work with you and DHL and bigdan120 first. let us know what happens !

  5. Go to your fuse and relay panel and remove and reseat every one of relays and fuses (shot gun approach) or find the appropriate relay and pull and reseat just the one. I had a 08 Trooper and it indeed needed the interposing relay because the wire from the switch to the solenoid was too small, it would pull in, but not slam home to make contact, the interposing relay fixed it.  I now have a 2015 Trooper and it has to have the brake on to start. Occasionally fails to engage and all it takes to fix that is to tap on the cover of the fuse/relay box, I have a home made cruise control with a light on it that comes on when I turn the key on but is turned off by the brake, when noticed the light staying on when I was trying to start and not getting the starter to engage, so instead of tapping the cover, I put some polyurethane foam between the fuse and the cover to hold it in, hope it works, I'll find out when thing warm up enough to go riding.

I have been looking to put a blue tooth OBDII code reader in my camper so I can have a tachometer, via smart phone, so I don't over rev the motor when pulling hill and in the lower gears.  I my investigating, I found that with the right codes and the right hacks, you can control the engine's performance such as timing, fuel rail, and every thing else. Has any one been able to get any of the ECU codes for our controllers?

My buddy has a Can Am and if I could my choice of a new Can AM or new Trooper, I'd take the Trooper, as his passenger, I get hot because of where the engine is, the Can Am has good fit and finish, but I don't like the CVT, it does have a good compression system for going down hill but it might be to good because you have to give it gas to down hill, I like my trooper and it's 5 speed and I really like the tires I special ordered + all my wheels are the same size instead of the wider wheels on the rear.

    It is my opinion that a lot of what is pinned is now obsolete, but yet, some of the info is still of use, especially to new owners of used machines.  Perhaps you can create a file or folder that is an archive that we don't have to scroll down through still has all the info in the pinned threads, I haven't read through them for a few years now, so I don't know what in them any more  of if the information is up to date.

    I did unpin this topic, so unless some else repins it or asks the it be repinned, in will drift away.

    a lot of the pinned  information is over ten years old, some from me, some from Lenny, some some rocmoc,  and from others, I now drive a 20015 Trooper T2, rocmoc drives a jeep (I think) and Lenny rides Honda motorcycles, the last I heard any way. 

    So, any way, I would suggest a questionnaire about whether to leave it alone, make an archive or just unpin it all.  I leave it to you.

    32 divided by 14 = 2.285 gear ratio, my under standing is this engine/transmission was straight out of the gear box to the wheels, so our top speed is cut by 2.285 and our torque upped by that much. I also think that our 5th gear is an add-on because of the differential gear down.

    We carry all the shims for all chery motors 5.00 ea.The motors are getting older so things like camshaft clearance should be checked and in Spec.Not a vary hard job.But must be organized.We have a Video on You Tube.Siverbulletmotorsports. Return i get back 1.00 each it must be in good shape.Are supercharger is all must

    done. Chery Parts Dealer Engine and Transmission complete or parts.

    You ought to put a package together package or kit with a selection of various thicknesses of shims so one can order the kit, use what's needed and return for refund of unused shims and rebate for ones that were replaced.

Sent an email to Brandon at Joyner USA yesterday about my problem with the tie rods hitting the wheel and I got my reply today, He's going to replace all 5 wheels and both tie rods because of the damage I did to them with a grinder to get the clearance I needed, FOR FREE. I'm very pleased with Brandon and Joyner, They've taken really,really good care of me and my problems.
