  1. Great then I will be getting them, Thanks Rick.
  2. Lenny which Fox works best in th e stock mounts? Robert.
  3. I saw two different covers when I bought mine. The one I got is very durable with straps on alll sides to help tie it down if you need. The elastic strap at the bottom secures it around the Trooper very well with out the other straps. The one I got is a bit bigger then the machine so it is easy to take on and off. I have an intake snorkel which is above the top of my machine by about eight inches as well as having gear stored on top and Im still able to get the cover over everything no problem. Take the time and check your rear diff bolts, it just takes a second and will be worth it if you need to replace them before you break down. Good Luck.
  4. Glad to hear about your purchase. I got a great water proof cover at Cabela's for 100. Look at the posts on here concerning past problems. I to have an 09 which I bought with 210 miles. I was told all of the upgrades had been completed on my T2. I have about 1700 miles when my rear diff went out, I also had problems with the steering box and a leak in the gas tank. Take a look at the past posts and have yours checked out, could prevent a lot of problems later. The guys on this forum have a tremendous amount of experience and smarts with the Troopers and have helped me a ton so don't be afraid to ask questions.
  5. Will it plug in and work with a Turbo, or will it require a lot of tuning. Im also very interested in the cam's when will they be ready.
  6. I have put 1700 miles on mine in six months, don't know how many KM that is. Now I'm starting to have problems with it. bummer I have a Turbo and 30' itp Mud Lites, I made my own top, back, half doors and removeable windows, I installed a intake snorkel and sealed the area under the hood. I was very impressed with it at first but now I'm concerned about the reliability. I have owned two Rhinos and one Prowler, the Trooper is by far the best when it's running.
  7. I will have it apart tomorrow, I am curious if most diffs are serviceable after problems such as this or they need to be replaced. Thanks for you input, I will let you know what I find. Robert.
  8. Hanksville would be great, we are looking forward to meeting and riding with other Joyner folks.
  9. When I spin one wheel the other goes the other direction. When in gear the wheels wont spin except a little play.. Both wheels lock together with the diff lock engaged. I was able to drive it out with out any problems, I used 4 wheel drive to take of as much stress as possible. The only reason I drove it was I couldn't get my truck and trailer in to it. Have you worked on any diffs after their has been a problem, do you think the diff could be repared and be dependable or should I plan on replaceing it if I can get one. Other then the diff what other problems should I be looking for. I had a Turbo installed when I bought the machine, I also put in a intake snorkel and the steering box plate. I still have a loud rattle in the front end at low speeds. I found the tie rods ends have a lot of play so I will be replacing them. I was planning on going to Hanksville in June if my machine is ready, any advice you can give would be great. Robert.
  10. Lenny, I am new to this forum as well as owning a Joyner. I have an 09 T2 which I bought will 219 miles from a guy in Vail AZ last July. I have about 1700 miles on it with some minor problems. Went out today and rode about five miles in easy country when I heard some noise from the rear diff as well as smelling diff fluid. Stopped to check and found diff fluid leaking out of the right side axel seal. I was able to get it home and jacked up the rear. Both wheels will spin both directions with out any problem, I havent pulled it down yet, I was told you are familiar whith the issues concerning the diffs and you make an upgrade for them. I haven't checked to see if my diff was upgraded. Would you have an idea what may have happened to mine. I have owned two Rhino's and a Prowler. The Trooper can go places the other utvs can't but I have had a few issues with the Trooper. I really like the Trooper but I need help.
