Going down a 20 deg hill engine is holding UTV back. Then something releases like going into Neutral and makes a loud clacking noise. Have to use brake to slow UTV down. Then once level it shifts back into gear. Have done shift extension does not pop out of gear.

We just bought a used 2017 American Landmaster TW450. No hour meter that I can find, so not sure exactly how much it has been used.
The first 2 days we had it, the starter was a little sketchy, but it started after 2-3 tries. Sometimes when turning the key, we would hear a loud metal "clink" sound. Like the starter made contact, but didn't have enough power to turn.
THIS MORNING... Turning the key, we hear a single click sound. That's it. Even with a new battery, the starter is still doing the same thing. Both batteries (old and new) were reading 12.8 volts on volt meter. So I'm wondering what else could be going on? Any ideas on what to look for would be greatly appreciated...
Thank you!

New Landmaster EV owner here, I received the subject-noted unit on Tuesday of this week. It exactly fits my need and feel it will be capable of anything I'll ask of it. I look forward to putting it to work.
There is one problematic/perplexing thing that I wanted to post here for comment. My unit has the battery switch on the dash. When I turn it on, about half of the time I won't see the battery meter come on, nor will the F-N-R switch work. This is intendant of wether I have the key in the ignition in the Off position, whether I have the key turned to the On position or whether I take the key and turn it all the way over to what would be the Start position and then back to On.
If the battery meter and other items do not fire-up, then the battery will turn itself Off after about 10 seconds. It's then again 50-50 proposition on if subsequent tries will work.
Before calling-up Landmaster, anyone have any idea on what may be wrong? Any thoughts/info appreciated, TIA!

I have a 2023 4010 Mule TRANS that I've now had a year and just hit 50hrs. I did my first service including oil change, trans & differential oil change. I'd like to adjust my linkage (I suppose) as when I shift into gear, I get a good grab and clunk at least. It was grinding at one point and I tinkered with the linkage adjustments enough that its finally not grinding. Still, sometimes I worry that it's clunking too hard when I go into gear.
Looked on youtube and can't find any vids or advice there on the adjustment procedure. I'm STILL trying to find somewhere that has the service manual available. Even the company site is telling me that they hope to have them in stock by Christmas!
These are the two places I was trying to adjust. Are these even the correct ones? Does anyone know the difference in the two?
