brake modification questions

While I redoing my front driveshaft, I decided to put a disk on the shaft for my parking brake. This gives me three advantages. First, it keeps the parking brake simple and condensed. Second, when I use the parking brake to hold me while I'm letting the clutch out on a complicated hill section, all 4 wheels hold, if in 4x4. Thirdly, I get the advantage of the 2.11: 1 ratio in the differentials for better braking. That leaves me with 2 extra calipers on the rear. If I doubled them up with the other 2 in the rear, that would increase my regular stopping power. Do you think this would give me too much on the rear and make the balance with the front unworkable? Also, what do you think about hooking the front brake lines together and the same with the rear? Stock, they are Right front with left rear together and left front with right rear.

I have seen the setup you are talking about on older Jeeps & trucks. You could always throw in an adjustable proportioning valve to balance the system.

With the drive line locked in park, be sure to consider the spider gears. Don't know about the rest.

I figure that running hard in low gear puts a lot more stress on the gears compared to just holding in a stopped position.

      I have been doing a little research on which engine oil is best for UTV engines.  There seems to be some disagreement over using a good quality regular engine oil, and the necessity of using "M2" (or wet clutch suitable) oil.  My understanding is the "wet clutch" suitable oil has less friction reduction properties (hence a more responsive clutch with less slippage).  While less friction reduction properties would seem to be better for the wet clutch... it would not be best for the internal engine parts like camshaft bearings and other moving parts where friction is detrimental and would lead to premature failure.  Some folks swear you need M2 oil, while others say they have been using regular motor oil for years and their clutch is just fine.  Could they both be right ???
      Any thoughts ?

      I have a 2020 800 sx with about 16 hours on it.  From day one I have heard a clunking noise from the front end going over bumps.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Also this past weekend while out riding I heard a noise that sounded like the dump bed bounced three or four different times, again has anyone experienced anything like that.  Thanks, gary

      My buddy has a ut400 that the forward gear keeps popping out of gear. She only has like 400 miles on the odometer .the shift cable has been adjusted and the shift lever has been updated / modified. All other gears are good. Is there an internal detent cam or something that wears out or shift fork that can be replaced ? Or is there some other magic that I can perform ? Looks like the engine needs to be split.

      I'm working on a 2005 Cub Cadet side by side and I'm trying to remove the front two axles.  I have a slide hammer puller on the inner joint and with all my strength they will not budge.   Anyone have the same issues and is there something I'm missing or a trick of some sort to pull these out?   Any suggestions please and thank you.

      Just wondering if mine is the only one that’s seems very loud while driving. It just seems louder that other brands I’m use to. I guess you get what you pay for I’m assuming.
