Rotate the sending unit a little and drill new holes. Use the original screws if you have a metric tap, or switch to self tapping screw. You may even want to replace the gasket with a thicker gasket or a cork gasket. If you have some good silicone smear some on the red plastic where the wires come out. The gas is probably causing it to go brittle, I bought some Permatex (I think) Black Magic high temp something like five years ago and it is still usable and very good stuff. I recommend it!!

As long as your going to rotate and drill new noles, you might as well go to 6 or 8 holes to get a good tight clamp on the seal you use. You sort of get it for nothing as your there anyway drilling and it doesn't add but about 1 minute or two to the time.

i have a fuel leak around the sending unit on my trooper went to make sure bolts were tight and 2 of them was stripped out any suggestions

I had the same problem.I removed the tank to clean it out so at that time I used larger diameter self drilling screws and a oil/fuel resistant sealant on both sides of the rubber gasket.Cleaned out tank real good and no problem since.

      MSU 500 Fuel Pump Ground

      Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it. 
      Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming. 
      Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light. 
      Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?

      I have a AXIS 700 EFI Fuel pump pressure stays at 40 psi and when return line is blocked the pressure goes to 60 psi. and wll only run with return line closed.

      Utv wont start and broken fuel injection wire

      I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

      Pulled fuel injector to see if I could clean it or if it's stuck open. Had a slide on clip that was really tough to get off. Don't see how the clip is supposed to lock into the plastic part that the injector slides into. Any videos or pics of injector replacement?

      Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
      I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
      A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
      A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
      And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
      I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
      Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
