Also does anyone know if other UTV's wheels will fit a Commando.

Are you talking about the 69-80 SI alternators?  My Commando alt died Saturday. If one of those will bolt up direct I'll stop tomorrow and grab one on the way home from work.

where are you at on this planet :)

If you want to send your alternator to me, I can most likely fix it, I have before, I have a chip or two laying around that you can have, just look at the copper winding and if they're not burnt, then it just needs a diode or 2 and maybe a new regulator (chip)

Your costs are postage, both ways and maybe a few incidental, but probably not.

Took the alt to autozone and they claimed they couldn't test it because they can't tell the machine what the alt belonged to and they don't have the proper wiring to hook it up.  I replaced it with a Toyota alt that bolted in but still have issues.   The new alt runs up over 15 volts.   My thinking is the rectifier/regulator is bad.    Sorry for my delayed responses but I work out of town sometimes weeks at a time.  I appreciate the offer and will likely take you up on trying to repair the other for a backup. I also noticed after I replaced it and fired the machine up that the fuel pump continued to run after shutting it off.   Only way I can stop it is to disconnect the battery.  Lots of Gremlins in this Commando.  I don't know if it's a short or possibly related to the rectifier/regulator or what.

Hi everyone and I hope that is not a too forward questions for us newbies.
My husband and I are ready (next Spring) to open our newly developed nudist campground in Iowa and we are now looking for interesting activities to host.
Don't worry we are not going to try and sell you a membership because as of 2 weeks ago all of our 50 campsites are sold out for the 2024 season.
It was my job to sell site and now that is complete i am looking for interesting actives host for weekend.
We have 300 acres of woods, grassland, swamps and 2 small ponds/lakes and dozens of miles of riding trails.
we have gotten county approval for the complete 300 acres to be clothing optional.
We think we have a great spot for a weekend or several day ATV / mudder event.
Clothing would be optional for all participants and plenty of room for overnight camping and outdoor group showers.
Now we are looking to you pro  ATV riders to let us know if you think your group of people would fit in with ours.
Feel free to ask anything you would like to get a better idea of what we offer.

Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find.  I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference.  For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows.  Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.
