Well I have one of those frustrating electrical problems, All of my dash gauges stopped working. I had been working on the horn button, got it working (contacts just needed cleaning). Went for a short ride and noted that none of my dash gauges were working. The smaller gauges light up when I turn the key on but go out when the engine is started, I have checked all fuses in the two boxes and all are good. I am assuming that I am not getting any power to the dash gauges but am at a loss as where to look next. I am sure with all the expertise that we have on this forum that someone can point me in the right direction to solve this problem.

Sure sounds like a dirty contact and/or bad ground. I hate electrical problems. Good luck and let us know how you are doing and what you find. I sure Kinarfi & Lenny will chime in, they are the real experts with this electrical stuff.

Rocmoc, your absolutely right as usual, Problem solved. What I did was to remove the horn thinking perhaps it was a horn problem. Well there are two wires that connect to then horn mounting bracket, one of which goes to ground and the other to the instruments. I initially did not connect the wires back up and that was the problem. Seems to me to be a funky way to ground the instrument cluster via a bolt holding the horn.

Thanks rocmoc and for those reading this thread FYI, and who would have thunk it!

I think this part is causing a high idle problem(4000 rpm at start up) in my 04 R4 Joyner. I took it out and cleaned it and the problem went away. I just went out to start my SXS and it's idle jumped up to 4 grand again. Can someone tell me what this part is called so I can search for a new one. Or can you point me towards a source.
      Thanks in advance.

When I am driving at 30 to 40 mph on the highway, the display will change from H (high) to R (reverse).  It does not actually shift into reverse, it seems to shift into neutral and starts losing speed and the gas pedal has no effect.  After the rpm/speed drops for 5 seconds or so, it changes back to H and runs fine for another minute or so.  You have to try to drive it at less than 5000 rpm or so, to try and keep this from happening.  Any ideas on what the problem might be?  It only happens at the higher speeds.

      Hi
I have a 2022 hisun sector eps 550. 30amp fuse is blown for eps. Checked the motor and it’s fine. Opened up the controller and found a bad diode. Dealer wanted 500$ for the controller. Just posting this in case it helps someone. I couldn’t read numbers from the old one so just took a guess and replaced it with a 100v 3amp diode.

I recently purchased a Hisun E1 and the other day the charger stopped working properly. The LED on the dash blinks red & green and the light on the side of the charger also blinks red & green. The fan on the charger does not come on like it used to do. There is no error code that I can see. Does anyone have any suggestions to remedy this?
