Hey everyone, just wanted to say hi and ask a few questions. I just purchased a new 2012 trooper as my deployment gift. I havent been able to ride it yet as I'm still deployed. LOL But I was wondering if a 15x7 wheel with 4.5 back spacing will work? I tried searching but couldnt find the answer. Also does anyone know if the differentials need to be upgraded on a 2012 model?

The wheels should work fine. If your planing on redrilling for the bolt spacing, be sure the wheels have a flat center. Can't tell you about the differential. Nobody has reported yet. If it does and you don't, you can destroy the diff. I would remove it and it and pull the cover off it and see if the ring and pinion gear line up. Also see if there is more then a few thousands play in the gear meshing including the spider gears. Also look for surplus end play. The bolts holding the ring gear on should be grade 12.9 and be securred on with red Loc-tite or simular along with a secondary way of keeping the bolts from loosening like metal clips or locknuts.

Thanks for the replies guys! I wont need to redrill I am getting the wheels from superatv and they are 15x7 and 115mm so the should work. I will pull the diff and check it when I get home from deployment. Oh and I updated my profile. Thanks again cant wait to ride this machine. So far Ive only gotten to see pics of my dad showing off on it LOL

I had a problem 6-8 mo ago when the unit would not start . But you could see power on the dash. The starter solenoid was replaced and it has been fine until yesterday. When I started it up I noticed a high pitched noise coming from under the front. Like a alarmbuzz ..It seemed to drive fine so I went ahead and used it off and on for a hour or so . The noise would not go away . I parked it in the shed and lifted the hood . It seemed to be coming from the battery compartment ( where the new starter solenoid is) I jiggled the connections and the noise changed timbre and then the machine went dead. No power at all . No lights . When you cross the two poles on the starter solenoid ( previously last year it would start and run ) nothing. Checked the battery and it is fully charged . I checked the fuses inside the battery box and they all looked good  but I must be missing something. Anyone have a clue what I need to do next to R&R. The closest repair place is 2 hours away in Mississippi . Any help would be appreciated.

I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well.  65 hours on it so far.   It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn".  The rest is under a lake.
My parking brake does not seem to have any grip.  It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless.     I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines.   I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down.  There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling.
      Any thoughts on possible causes?

Put a new carb on the 500 to replace the leaking OE one.  Machine idles fine and mid and top end runs great.  It tends to have a hesitation right from the start - bottom end.   Thinking it may be the air/fuel screw??  I didn't do anything with the carb out of the box and is it direct replacement for my machine.  Of interest is the manual choke doesn't seem to work very good now.... wonder is it getting too much air?

      Any help appreciated!
