I recently bought a Joyner Trooper T2. New to the forum and new to owning a utv. But I have a lot of off road background. With jeeps,HMMWV's, and tracked vehicles. I was originally going to buy a RZR but changed my mind after reading the info on this site. Though some were foolish to be "brand wagoners" and not state facts. I will say that it was rocmoc who helped tilt the tables. Thank you for that if you read this. I live in Arizona about 15 miles west of Florence. Anyway thanks

Welcome!

BUT, I use to have friends on here before I was included in your post, LOL! Since you have got me in hot water with my buddies, you better stick around and post about your toys. Also my old use to be buddies use to welcome me to the yearly Jamboree so I know you will be welcome also. I'm confused!

Good morning to all!

I'm new to this forum. Bought my Trooper last year (2012. I am from an auto body background with limited engine knowledge. In Boise Idaho where I live, there is no Joyner dealer or service available so I must do it all my self. I'm interested in learning as much as I can regarding the engine and keeping it running at its top performance capabilities. Any suggestions on forums, books, videos, etc., would be greatly appreciated.

GOM

That's the question! Or, if you want to add details:
      (a) How do you use the UTV? (roads? off-road to get to trees? etc.)
      (b) If you are wearing a helmet--how frequently? What type of helmet?

My own answers: (a) Most of the time off-road to get to downed trees, cut the trees to logs and haul the logs back for splitting. (b) Very rarely, a ski helmet and not a motorcycle helmet.

      Hi,
      New to the forum.
Came here looking for some experienced UTV users who can enlighten me about which brand should I pick for my very first UTV or SXS.
      I'm between 3 brands and 3 models:
      *Kawasaki MULE PRO-FXR   1000.
      *Yamaha wolverine rmax2.
      *Can am Commander XTP.
The use I'm willing to give it is mostly to go to the range with my wife, load steel targets and all our shooting gear, we shoot a lot, rifles, Shotguns and Handguns for practice, training and competition. (Range is about 10 miles from home)
But also I want something that I can take to the trails and have fun on dirt, mud, rocks, puddles or creeks.
Any objective information will be appreciated, specially which is more reliable and durable.
Thank you and happy 4th of July.
