Chickens, anyone else have them?

Recommended Posts

We just got 5 again, Easter Egg Layers (green eggs). We had to sell our chickens two years ago when we decide to travel back East for a couple of winters. We had a greater variety & more but the EE Layers seem to be able to evade the coyotes better and we had too many eggs before. Also the green eggs are suppost to be more healthy for consumption. EEs look like hawks and in some ways act like them being a little edgy and very good hunters. Anyone else have chickens?

Rocmoc,

Isnt there a chicken forum where you can post this???? You are really pressing for topics since you sold your trooper.(LOL) We use to live out in riverside on some acerage and had the chickens,50 turkeys, pig, and a few horses. I miss having the animals but not the work and the smell.

LOL! I wonder sometime if anyone is still out there. We are lucky Admin has maintained the site for us. I have tried at different times to generate ANY type of discussion. Glad to see someone respond. Yes there are chicken fourms but IMHO people need to post more than just when they have a problem with there Joyner. If not, afraid one of these days we are going to try and bring up the site and it is going to be GONE! 16 posts in a week and nearly half of them are Kinarfi and me. If we don't use it we are going to lose it!

I understand, i have had very limited time lately and i came on today expecting some talk about a problem with the trooper or some photos of the jamboree i find a topic about chickens(LOL) I had to respond to that... Hope you and your better half are doing well. We were down real close to your neck of the woods last week. We did our annual trip to Tempe for some spring trainning games. Naturally it had to be over 90 while we were there. Wish i knew about your chickens, i would have come by for an Omelet(LOL).

It has done this since day one that we purchased it from Tractor Supply. I contacted the service man that Tractor Supply recommended and he told us that there wasn't anything he do to help us with. Has anyone had this same problem and can offer suggestion on to correct this issue ? It would be greatly appreciated.

      Hello all,
Was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for a good two way communication headset. It's too loud in my Razr to easily have a conversation with the wife, and want to go the headset route to help with that and reduce cockpit noise.
      Thanks!

Looking for the truck bed components 2018 Textron 900 Stampede.  There is limited information available for the assembly.  Might need a parts list.

I have an American Landmaster LM500 with an old style snow plow hook-up.  Unfortunately, the mounting bracket broke & I lost the key part where the plow receiver connects to the cross bar with two pins.
I checked with customer service & they said...

I believe they are sold as a kit though and they are not cheap, part # 15329. I’ve included a photo below since the web store does not have a photo for that part.

I checked with our parts department and neither the kit or the components are available as that was the older style hook up system. The only option at this point would to have something manufactured. All of our current plows are either dual actuated or winch hookup so we would only have components for those models as of currently.
In the picture, below, it would be item #5 (the one with the two mounting brackets that hold the pins that the plow mount latches onto) - not the top one in the picture, but the one below t hat.
I have all the other parts - but the missing part is critical to mounting the plow.
Does anyone happen to have an old one they could part with - or have an alternative solution?
The rig wasn't optimal, as you had to use the winch to raise & lower the blade & manually adjust the angle.  It kept falling off when I was plowing snow - as the pins that hold it in only have a groove for a pin clip & they would often get knocked off & then the plow would hang down & you'd loose the pin - then it would get all messed up.
Thanks in advance for any advice.  I am thinking of going to a welding shop to see if they can create something - but it will still have the same limitations as before - the pins are highly specific and not cheap

I thought the problem was electrical but I just found this in the oil filler tube. Does anyone recognize the part? I know I'll have to tear down the whole engine, and maybe I'll find the rest of it in there. Something beg enough to seize up the engine. That was the problem I was trying to diagnose.... 'Cause it's locked up.
      Thanks in advance.
