sure did a shock upgrade some people are not a fan. DAN how are you doing. I did air shocks cause I wanted it to flex and i do more slow speed riding the ride is great I have fox 2.0 8" travel upfront and race runner (swayaway) 2.5 10" travel this works for me doesnt mean it will for everyone I have 13.5-14" ground clearance and I just went up north and was running the trails at about 30-40mph no issues at first I had issues just setting them up and getting the pressure right but it has done well for me and I think the whole set up was 1000-1100

t2lizzard ...Trevor at Mudslinger has them on his own/demo turbo trooper..they really work well !!! Ive been playing with fox air shocks on my own trooper and like them much better than the worn out stock ones I had,but so far no comparison to the Elkas...just my 3cents...Hardy

I bit the bullet so to speak and ordered the ELKA's from Trevor today. I almost couldn't get past the price but reminded myself how much messing around it took to get the QA1's tuned in, and then I was constantly replacing limit straps because they either broke or got hooked on something in a mud hole. the extra $600 that they cost will be worth it in ride quality vs fix time trailside.

I have some 2.5 coil overs with 600 and 400 springs that had too much travel, I had limit straps on them and finally moved the mount rearward and outward, the rearward was set so the axle could not hit the swing arm and the outward was as close to the wheel as I could get and the straps are out of there, much improved the ride, front is still a bit stiff, I think the back is great.

wow !! 600 & 400 springs. that sounds really stiff. on the last machine I used 175's up front and 350's in the rear. we ride mostly in the rocky mountains so the machine rarely gets out of 2nd gear except on the road but that's a big jump.

Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find.  I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference.  For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows.  Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't posted in a while since solving the excessive cabin noise issue, so I thought I would share a few upgrades to my Sector... Realize that this is driven daily on the street, so some of the mods are to make it more streetworthy.

      Locking gas door.

      Rear view mirror.

Modified windshield for better airflow in cabin.

Lowered and modified headrest bar for improved rear view.  Tailgate protector.

      Folding armrests.

Overhead utility rack.  Keeps the interior cooler and dryer, too!

      Folding rear seats.

      Dust cover and seat protector.
If anyone wants links to the rear view mirror, seats, or arrests, let me know and I will post.  But know that everything requires some level of fabrication.  The utility rack was all custom built.  Cheers!
