I have a Q-Link (Rhino clone) and the fuel injector won't open up and spray. The fuel pump is brand-new and kicks on and primes to the injector but nothing comes out.

I've cleaned and dielectric greased the electrical plug and the ECU plugs but no change. not sure where to go from here. Any help?

I'm curious, how did you check the injector to verify it wasn't flowing?

First thing I would do it stick an ohmmeter on it and look at the resistance across the injector.  I would imagine somewhere between 5-50 ohms.  Then I'd check voltage coming to it during start up to see the "pulses".  If I've got voltage, but no squirt-squirt, bad injector.  If the injector is pulsing but not squirting, its clogged.  Either way, new injector.

Also, you don't want dielectric grease on the metal contacts themselves.  You want it around the seal of the plug, not on the contacts.  The grease itself is an insulator.

Thanks y’all! I took the throttle off and felt inside the boot and it wasnt wet. I then removed the injector from the boot and turn the key on and nothing sprayed.
idk how to test for voltage. I assume ground one lead and test one on the prongs for power?

I couldnt get a good read on the electrical plug because my leads are too big to touch the contacts but today I put 12 volts directly from the battery to the injector and it clicked but still didn’t spray.  So there may still be a problem but regardless I guess I need a new injector anyway. :(

Woah now, of you put 12v on it and heard/felt a click, it might not be the injector.  Was the fuel line pressurized? I'd suspect a fuel pump before I suspected an injector.

It did click and was pressurized but nothing came out. The fuel pump is new.
I bought this for $500. It’s been sitting for like 6 years and so many many dummy’s have messed with it that things were out of sorts. I believe I’ve got ever in order again. It only has 23 miles on it.
I ordered a new injector. Should be here in a couple days.

No, but shouldn't be far from the ECU.  Little black cube that plugs into a socket.  Sometimes they're held in by a black rubber boot to insulate from bouncing and shocks.

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!

Parting out a rolled Sand viper 1100. I will list some of the parts I have, otherwise ask me if there is something specific you are looking for. I am selling everything I have for $800. I am located near Glenwood Springs CO.

      Transmission

      Throttle Body $90
      Starter $150
      Alternator $150
      Fuel rail, injectors, fpr $100

I have a box full of misc bolts, nuts, etc.
I will sell the Chassis or Frame alone for $200. The chassis is in pretty good shape, needs some cage repair and 2 areas straightened where control arms mount. If anyone had an automotive frame machine it would take a few hours.
      That would include....
Brake calipers, lines, pedal, master cyl, E brake assy,
      Steering shaft, wheel
      Ignition switch, key
      Light bar frame, 2 lights

I am parting this out of ebay right now, I just picked up another project and could use the room. No I will not take less than $700 for all of it or $200 for the frame. I do not need to sell it, I will make far more parting it out but would like the extra space in the garage.
If interested I also have an 07 1000rr engine setup I would sell with the buggy for $650.
      Thanks!

I have a Coleman 550.  Was having problems to start with where it would start and then shut off after a couple tries. It would take off and be good. It then got to a point where it would not start at all. I replaced the fuel injection twice the second time I replaced it I noticed a mouse or something had chewed one of the wires that connect the electrical to the fuel injector. . So two-part question first does anybody have a part number for that wire harness?  Second, any other ideas after I fix the wire harness permanently on what could keep it from starting I have gas flow up to the fuel injector.

Pulled fuel injector to see if I could clean it or if it's stuck open. Had a slide on clip that was really tough to get off. Don't see how the clip is supposed to lock into the plastic part that the injector slides into. Any videos or pics of injector replacement?
