Having to replace the fan gears. When inspecting the housing had moisture inside. Looked like there was some oil but don’t know where it gets the oil. I want to protect it but was wondering if I could put grease on the new gears?

There was another post on here. It was a shift problem that turned out to be the fan shifter issue like you are talking about.

I don't think that poster put any grease on the fan fingers where they interlock with the gear. Look for that post. There is also a video that he references.

It may be in the Axis or hisun or Coleman sub category. I can remember. But I think there is an oil passage there. Sorry I couldn't give any more help. If you can find that post.aybe you can reach out to that member and see how his solution is working for him. It was maybe a year ago when the post was made

I found the post I was referring to. It on a 2020 Axis that only had reverse and neutral. The title is

2020-axis-500-only-getting-reverse-and-neutral

I'll post a direct link under this reply. This system has to verify a link isn't posted with ill intent. And has to be verified. And I know you want a quick solution. So you can search for the above post title or wait for my link to be approved. It's up to you

Greg, I couldn’t open your link but went ahead and reassembled. However I did take some axle grease and coated the fan gears but wiped off the access.  Don’t think it would hurt. There is an oil path but it doesn’t seem to lubricate the gears fully.  I think this is a design flaw since there are a lot of people (on YouTube) that have experienced the same problem.

I have a 2007 Joyner 1100 sand viper and  before it even get's to where the thermostat opens up the oil pressure get's so low I have to shut it down. What could fix this ? I thought about adding an oil cooler with fan, thicker oil, or removing the thermostat. Any advice?

Onto the next problem, everything has been replaced in the charging system except the Flywheel Rotor, I have it torn apart all the way down to said rotor, but it is suggested that a specific puller is required, and a compatible rotor seems virtually impossible to find.  I can find many like it, but this one is mine scenario for those that get the reference.  For all I know I have the last Massimo Buck 400S on the planet and will never find another part again, but who knows.  Any ideas, help or otherwise that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.

Haven't posted in a while since solving the excessive cabin noise issue, so I thought I would share a few upgrades to my Sector... Realize that this is driven daily on the street, so some of the mods are to make it more streetworthy.

      Locking gas door.

      Rear view mirror.

Modified windshield for better airflow in cabin.

Lowered and modified headrest bar for improved rear view.  Tailgate protector.

      Folding armrests.

Overhead utility rack.  Keeps the interior cooler and dryer, too!

      Folding rear seats.

      Dust cover and seat protector.
If anyone wants links to the rear view mirror, seats, or arrests, let me know and I will post.  But know that everything requires some level of fabrication.  The utility rack was all custom built.  Cheers!
