Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.

New starter solenoid....check

New Voltage Regulator...check.

Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC

Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

Just curious if you found a solution to finding a replacement stator or an equivalent solution.  I am in a similar issue where my wires have frayed at the point where they enter the engine and it is shorting out.  Very difficult finding a replacement it seems.

So yes, I had a guy locally who works on all different types of motors, and he found a stator and voltage regulator and swapped them out.  UTV starts right up and runs as it should but the gasket that came with the stator was the wrong size, so he used liquid gasket and I think he missed a spot or a bolt need tightened to stop a slow oil drip.  The part was found somehow through amotopart.com.  It seemed a little sketchy working around the site and tracking process but turned out as legitimate as I could expect.

All that said, when I begin driving and using lights the low battery warning starts flashing but when I stop and shut everything off it goes away....everything I am reading is suggesting corroded wires(which I don't see), loose connections (which I don't see) or a battery that is unable to receive charge.  So, I am currently onto the next thing which is a battery compatible as the one in the Buck when I bought it according to google is not the correct type.

Ok, sounds like the Linhai 400 equivalent is compatible then. They have a slightly different cover design with a bulge at the top which is why the gasket doesn't work.
The liquid gasket is a pain.  I had the same oil leak that you have because I didn't use the exact recommended liquid gasket.  Pulled it all apart and back again to fix it.  I think that is why my wires are frayed now and need to replace the stator. Thanks for the response and good luck with the next bug.

My rtv 1140 won't turn over.  I've jumped the neutral switch, and the brake switch, and checked the ignition switch. I'm not getting any power to the trigger wire on the starter solenoid.  It starts fine with the key on and putting power to the trigger wire on the solonoid.
Does a 2010 RTV 1140 cpx have a starter relay?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram?

I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.

2022 Coleman 400 with 13 hours on the engine and the mice got to it. Every wire coming out of the steering column in one cluster has been eaten through. I tried reconnecting matching wire colors to each other and I get the left turn signal and hazards to work, nothing else. If I play around a bit I can get the horn to honk or headlights to come on but only when I connect them to the brown wire. Obviously I don't know what I am doing here. Does anyone have a picture of how these wires are connected when they are under the hood on the drivers side coming from the steering column?
Gray - seems to carry power
      Brown - left turn signal
Green with purple stripe - hazards?
Pink with red stripe - horn?
      Green - head lights?
      Yellow - head lights?
      Yellow with red stripe?
      Blue?
      Dark green?
There is also a bundle hanging under the hood not connected to anything green with yellow strip, brown and blue?
Other than that issue, I am about ready to sell this for parts if you interested let me know.
      Thanks

I recently purchased a 2019 or 2020 (no manual) Massimo 400S Buck Series UTV.  It ran fine for a couple days but the low battery light was flashing while it drove.  It then died in the field one day and I was able to jump the battery and get it rolling enough to get back to the barn.  It started both times I turned the key for a couple days after and when driven died 10 minutes later in the driveway.  Even after jumping it had no juice, but with the key out of the ignition it kept trying to start, a quick look on the Google machine and it suggested starter solenoid or ignition switch was the culprit.  Fair enough, let's just order a replacement solenoid, right?  No way Jose....the pin connector on the UTV is a 2-pin white plastic connector and the part received is a 4 pin.  How do I swap that and make it work?  Can I even?  Where do I find correct parts in the future?

I just purchased a Massimo MSU500 and no manual came with it so I have some questions. looking for part #'s and availability of basics like spark plug air and fuel filter. What is the valve adjustment specifications?
Is there a fuel drain? It's been sitting, low mileage but I want to drain out the old fuel and put fresh.
