New to Board New owner. Help 2018 Stampede

Just bought my son and I a used 2018 Stampede....

Drove it for 2 days everything seemed great.  But then today, we had it sitting outside got back in to take off and it would only do like 5 mph with the gas to the floor ... WTH?  Have it in high gear... I'm far from a mechanic but have no clue.  Literally 30 minutes before hand we were doing 40mph.    

I did notice the engine light on but only had 2 bars ... he usually drives so I dont know if that is always on or not.  I looked at the owners manual and it stated that the bars and backlight flash when overheated ...

I have no clue.  Need help... son is worried he did something to it...

Please advise... thank u

Yes.  Seemed to be...  

The temp light was on but not blinking.  It would be great if there was a description or video of the console and what was "normal" on running conditions.  

It's about 40 degrees here.  Vehicle was running at 40 -50 mph 20 mins earlier.  Stopped for about 20-30 mins an engine temp light was on that I didnt see before and it would only go like 5 mph... on the book I have it states that if engine was over heated it would blink on console...  not sure.

      Riding out today it acted like it ran out of gas,  stalled and died and would not start.   Towed back to house,  New  plug added this past month,  plenty of oil, getting plenty of gas, battery cranks good.   Trys to kick in and starts but doesnt.   Two days prior while sitting at a idle it died.  Added gas and it started did my ranch chores with it.  But just now it stalled out cranks but will not start.   Tried to find if fault codes came up on the clock like manual says but not sure I am doing that right.  Any and all help apprecated.  Thank you

      I have a 2018 Textron Stampede that has a leak on the passenger side rear end. Definitely looks like a gasket has gone bad, but I’m not sure what fluid I’m replacing?

      2018 Hisun Sector 1000 Crew stalling but starts right back up. Please help!

      Hey Guys, I have been chasing a stalling condition for about two weeks now. The bike will crank up and idle fine, then after about 20 seconds it will fall on its face and stall. It happens at both idle and while running at various rpms. You can turn the key off, turn it back on and it will fire right back up without trouble. I have verified spark on both cylinders with a spark tester. I have also added an inline fuel filter, and pulled the injectors to verify proper pulse on each. Things I have replaced - (relearn procedure performed after each component replaced): spark plugs, ECU, relay/fuse box, fuel pump, & throttle position sensor - all with no improvement of the condition. The only warning light I get when the condition occurs is the oil lamp. The bike only has 14 miles. I am at a loss and appreciate any help and suggestions! Thanks

      looking around and cannot find and Stampede motors, the Havoc looks to directly bolt in, with exception of the larger displacment. has anyone looked into this further? seems to be a better option considering stampede engines are on backorder.

      2021 Massimo MSU 800 will not run above 20 MPH

      While driving the MSU 800, it runs good but it lately it will not go over 20 MPH. The side by side will hesitate when it reaches 21 MPH, but it will run good under 20 MPH. What is the issue?
