Massimo 500 wont start.  Pulled the injector and when i turn the key it sprays a lot of fuel, but the spark plug is dry.  What would be my next step?  Valve adjustment?

You need three things to run an ICE: fuel (a proper air/fuel mix), compression and a spark at the correct moment. One of those is missing.

Easiest thing to check next (if you have not yet) is for a spark. OHC valvetrains rarely wear themselves tighter (s o tight as to not close and not allow some compression)--not what I'd check next...

As I alluded to above, with an engine that was  running reasonably well before a starting problem valve adjustment would likely be the last thing I'd check--just yank the plug and test the compression. If an intake or exhaust  valve is not closing tightly the cranking compression will be rather low (likely <100 psi)...

Thanks Guys, the thing that was puzzling me was that the injector was sending fuel, but the spark plug remained dry, which is why i asked about valve timing, but it does make sense what cliffyk said.

When i pulled the injector, it didn't really send a fine mist, but wasn't a solid stream, but it is sending fuel.   What would cause that fuel not to go into the cylinder?

That is perplexing--Check the spark and compression. Is there a smell of gas in the cylinder? I have seen "no-start" EFI systems where the fuel just ran down the cylinder wall and into the crankcase--does the oil smell of gas?

Guys, I want to thank you for all of your help, as well as let you know what the problem was.  I went on an out of state trip after my last post, so hadn't had time to get back on this unit until lately.  During my initial troubleshooting, i was on the drivers side working on the unit and my granpa was on the other side.  When i went back to verify the injector had a good spray pattern, i was not getting any fuel out.  I wiggled something and it started spraying again.  I leaned over to look at the fuel pump and noticed fresh oil.  Traced it to the oil filter which was barely hanging on.

So, the whole problem was an oil filter with the wrong thread type was installed.  It screwed on, but over time, and with vibration, came loose and fouled the threads on the filter.  After it started spewing oil, i guess the low oil sensor was engaging causing the bike to dye intermittantly, until the oil was never able to reach the sensor.  I ordered a new filter, installed, and topped off the oil, and now she is running great.

The only thing i wonder is why i was getting fuel and fire with pretty much no oil?   I would figure that the sensor would kill the fuel or the fire???

Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check
      New Voltage Regulator...check.
Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

I have an 850. It’s been overheating. The electric fan is not kicking on. I see the temperature switch going into the radiator, but there’s no wire plugging in to it or none to be found in the area. i’m thinking I might’ve hooked on a branch and it ripped out the harness on that part. Does anybody have a picture or no where that plugs into on the harness? On the top of the firewall, I did notice some plugs that have nothing plugged into it. I was wondering if it’s a harness that goes from there down to the radiator that was pulled off

I have a 2011 or so Landmaster LM200.  I cannot get it to start.  I turn the key and nothing happens.  The brake switch seems to be working, the ignition switch works.  The Coil is new the Voltage Regulator is new and the starter relay is new.

I can connect the terminals on the starter relay and it starts right up and runs fine.  I just can't get it to start by turning the key.

I am having a bit of trouble bleeding the brakes, not much fluid comes out at the calipers when I am pumping the brakes, though that an air bubble near the brake switch might make it not sense that the brake pedal is depressed.

I am at a loss, please help!

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!

Can anyone please tell me or send a link as to how & where to hook up a code reader to my 2021 Hisun 500 Axis.  I have a 6 pin to a 18 pin  adaptor and the blue cord VAG KKL adaptor .Just not sure where or what to hook up to. Can I use your typical vehicle code reader or do I need to download something on a laptop or PC???
