Well; I must say that Oregon is really not that friendly toward off road vehicles. Most of the off road areas have excluded class 2 vehicles. Motorcycles and ATVs have many areas to go; but they put those posts in the ground 50 inches apart to keep UTVs out. (I've heard that a Razor can fit through; but still not actually "legal" in these areas) The only "legal" areas I have found (so far) are in Christmas Valley Sand Dunes in Central Oregon and the Oregon Dunes Rec Area on the coast around Coos Bay. Both are very fun places. Christmas Valley is desolate. There is nothing very close there; but that also keeps the crowds away. Oregon Dunes on the Coast is a VERY awsome place to ride with MILES of sand to rip through. I hope in the future they will open more areas. I have to drive 90 minutes to get to Christmas Valley; and 6 hours to get to the Coast. All I keep hearing however is that with time it will become MORE restricted!

Bummer! hope you can find some closer riding, any jeep roads around? Here in Utah, they have banned us from some major dirt roads, atv & utv, but if we dual register them, we can use the paved and dirt roads but not in the bigger cities

That does remind me of one time; my wife and i went up into the Cascade Range and found an area where we saw some Jeeps in the "snow park" parking lot. I asked one of the guys if it was legal to ride there. He told me it was; and that it was a 5 mile loop. So I unloaded the Trooper and we took off on the trail. Within a 100 yards or so; it started getting rocky; and the rocks got bigger and bigger. It was a trail; but pretty difficult and steep. We went in about a mile; and i turned around because it was all "Lava" flow; and some of the edges were really sharp. Here's the area in this picture. I wanna say also that I LOVE that the Trooper is EFI. We were at about 7500 feet elevation. My Honda Rincon would barely even run at that altitude; but the Trooper ran fine.

Have a MSU 500 that we got from my wife's uncle a while back. We've had it running and hauling around the property but it stopped a few months ago after what I thought was running out of gas and I'm just getting to looking into it.
Had fuel to the injector but nothing coming out the injector so swapped with new injector and installed inline filter in the supply hose from fuel pump. Tried again and still nothing but noticed this time that I can't hear the fuel pump priming.
Pulled off the electrical connection and I'm getting 12V to the fuel pump but it won't run. Put it on a test bench and got it to run so put test lamp between +ve and -ve terminals on the connector and nothing. Checked against the passenger seat securing post and get a light.
Tried chasing the wire back and think that the ground is through the ECU but not 100% sure. Can someone confirm for me? And if it is through the ECU, is the ECU just grounded against the frame or is it wired through to the battery?
Thanks in advance and hope this all make sense!

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!

Bought my 2009 Yamaha Rhino, (fuel injected of course), recently from the original owner. Only had 500 miles and 70hrs. Starts reliably, however, it will not idle but about 50% of the time. Also, when driving slow in low or high, that is to say, relatively low rpms and below about 10 mph, it bucks and almost wants to die..... not smooth at all. However, at speed (say 12-15 mph or more) it runs very well, like it should. Any ideas?

Just bought new 2024 AODES 650 work cross 2 seated for my dad and he's very resilient at 79 and still cuts trees, splits and hauls firewood for heating home. He's begun using Polaris ATV with wagon more over his 80's toyo4x4 flatbed after the wood has been split. I figured UTV would be easier, more practical at times and more fun. It does not have a heater and would like suggestions on one that best suits his. He's tough but gets chilled easy now and a heater would make joyriding much better at this time of year. I Have found nothing that specifically Says it's made for this particular UTV I don't know what to make of the More generic Hacher versions Or how adaptable they are. I've read They have come from the factory with Heaters but It says nothing about Adding
