  1. sure did a shock upgrade some people are not a fan. DAN how are you doing. I did air shocks cause I wanted it to flex and i do more slow speed riding the ride is great I have fox 2.0 8" travel upfront and race runner (swayaway) 2.5 10" travel this works for me doesnt mean it will for everyone I have 13.5-14" ground clearance and I just went up north and was running the trails at about 30-40mph no issues at first I had issues just setting them up and getting the pressure right but it has done well for me and I think the whole set up was 1000-1100

  2. I do have a little play in my front bearing but I have talked to Casey at jmc a few times about it and he feels like I am Probally with in spec. When I take the wheels off and grab the rotor the play is minumil and no grinding or noise from the bearings I have tried to get the bearing tighter nothing has worked and they r tappered bearing last time I replaced one there wasn't much difference

  3. Hey guys please did a 100 miles on my trooper this weekend I noticed that sometimes I hit the brake the pedal seemed low or soft and I noticed that sometimes after braking a little hard the next time I hit the brakes the pedal was hard. No leaks still got meat on the pads I'm assuming maybe internal master cylinder leak any ideas has anyone replaced a master cylinder and with one

  4. are you talking about the swing arm bolts that go threw the frame like behind the seats on the bottom. I tightened mine with locktight a long time agao and check them I tried to replace them but no luck getting a size is that bolt threw mcaster??? I also grease then all the time everyride actually

  5. hey guys I am wondering if anyone has an idea for tighting the splines on the axle to hub surface meaning. the very end of the axle lets say front were it is splined and goes threw the wheel hub the part that is splined and has wheel studs on it. has any one come up with a solution to get the play out of it i tried some green lock tight didnt really work

  6. wow sorry to hear that sounds like who ever owned that before didnt take care of it well. I have an 09 trooper yes I have had problems but I keep up with it and always check it ova. I have driven mine threw snow some deep mud a foot or so and been in 2' of water but I have done a pretty good job water proofing mine. I have also climbed some nasty hills and gone down some nasty hills and off camber type stuff everyone is different and all areas are too just my thoughts. GOOD LUCK

  7. I have an 09 trooper and I have done a lot to it. Honestly its been pretty dam reliable!!!! few issues here and there but you will have that with anything. I ride with guys that have rhinos rzrz and quads and at some point they have all been stuck. I live in MA and I go to NH a lot with mine. I do a lot riding 20mph and under and up in NH 40+ mph. My friends call it the redneck tow truck cause I am the guy that gets people unstuck.or the beast. The factory airbox sucks do yourself a favor and buy or build a snorkel and change all the fluids they tend to put the cheap shit in them. Theres a lot of info here and these guys are awesome on this site!!!! I think for the money you get a lot with the trooper I have looked several times at an rzr but I cant stomach the price tag and I dont care for the belt drive on them. Everyone has a different style of driving and lives in different environments so just cause one guy has an issue doesn't mean you will.

Just my opinion i have had mine 3 years now I think and it has 1300 miles on it and only left me stranded once. GOOD LUCk

  8. Hey guys I was wondering is it worth having the stock trooper tuned??? I have a snorkel silver bullets programmer and synthetic fluids with iridium spark plugs. Just curious and how are the shops tuneing them with no OBD port.

  9. Idk if this is possible but about a yr aga I talked to a mechanic from No limits powersports in Texas and he said you can remove the seats and what not and pull the tranny without pulling the engine he said was a tight fit but could be done. Just throwing it out there good luck

  10. I'm lookin into doing a hybrids engine swap on mine using the stock tranny and converting the wet clutch to a dry clutch. You would have a total of 11 speeds then engine redlines around 10,000 rpm and wieghs less than 200 lbs right now I'm talking to a faricator and getting info from a company how to mate the trannys it's been done in other buggys if the new job goes well could hapen late this winter

  11. Hey guys found the rattle noise in the front end some of it I believe was the brake pads so I put some anti seize lube on the outside of them and I found the one of the hyme joints at the rack had gotten little loose so I greased it and tightened it and no more noise
