  1. I'm thinking I'm not too into the tube trunk thing above the engine on the trooper so I'm considering building a pick up box for the trooper something like the polaris ranger have. I think it would make a unique trooper what do you guys think? Have it been done?
  2. Lenny, that's good idea but I'm not going with a canvas top i have plans to put sheet metal on top inn place where safari rack used to be. Then I'm going to junkyard and pull a manual sunroof and maybe install it and also paint the roof panel Rocmoc so from what i understand you have more gap on bottom and windshield stop at driver side hump on dash correct?
  3. Rocmoc also, I'm wondering did the 3 inch gap on top and 1 inch gap on bottom for venting worked good for you? I'm thinking about making that big vent holes in the sheet metal if i do it like bruhaw but not as nice due to using a air powered cut off wheel freehand
  4. Bruhaw, how thick is the aluminum sheet u used? If u don't mind me asking, how much did u paid for the metal?... Plumber, do you have same set up as bruhaw or you did it differently?
  5. Bruhaw one more question... Since lot people complain about dust with full windshield, do you drive in dusty condition? Do your cab become a dusty smoking cab? Im asking because i drive mostly in dusty or muddy condition
  6. Bruhaw, are those clamps same thing extreme metal products or different? Your window look good, does it fold down? I believe i see bolts for hinges on bottom? Also I'm wondering how did you manage that metal around glass? It looks like more than just L angle metal brackets welded up together. Its just my 27 year old brain can't imagine how to do that haha. Thanks guys for all the information though
  7. Great I'm now debating on if i should use acrylic or polycarbonate plastic or should i just go for automotive grade windshield? I ask because i find acrylic shatter easily if hit by a small rock under 15 mph but have better clarity and there also is impact resistant acrylic and also scratches is easily polished out of acrylic and with polycarbonate its very solid but soft and easily scratched and fogged up
  8. I called them (extreme metal products) and asked about the quick connect windshield clamp they said they have it in 1 3/4" & 1 7/8" & 2" tubing size
  9. Hey everyone, I saw this lift kit for rzr and it look like it could work on all 4 corners of the trooper, what do you think? http://www.extrememetalproducts.com/RZR/c38/p191/RZR-2-Inch-Lift-Kit/product_info.html?osCsid=7385cb85b87ea316637e70d5a6f624be
  10. Excellent that's exactly what i was looking for! Thanks a lot
  11. Hey, I'm looking to build my own windshield but i want to be able to take the windshield off when i feel like it. What do you guys use to mount your windshield and maybe make it readily quick release too?
  12. Thanks for the compliment, i wasn't sure if it sounds good to others at first but my neighbors won't mind we all are farmers with loud equipments there's some mud here but i don't feel i have enough though i wish i could join you guys in utah and az on Rides. Maybe one day
  13. my catalyst convertor cracked halfway through the tubing so i cut it off and then had a straight pipe welded on. The mod was free because i had exhaust pipe laying around. I posted a video of sound of the exhaust. My wife hated the NEW sound please let me know what u think..
  14. Hello, I noticed my outer tie rod ends on trooper have zerk grease fitting so i decided to try grease these and the zerk snapped off. The tie rods are already shot and sloppy loose. I'm wondering if anyone have found an alternative to Joyner's weak tie rod ends. Did someone find set from a car to fit? I tried searching the forum for answers before i posted this. Thanks Brandon
  15. I'm sorry if I missed the info in other post but I think it's not there. I am wondering about the intake manifold you are working on, Will it be in stock position or would it be flipped upright like some of the members on the forum had done with their stock manifold by flipping it over. So would your intake manifold be designed to fit like stock or in flipped upside down position or both or what? Thanks Brandon
  16. Sounds good i'm always thrilled when u have something new to add to your inventory. Ill be watching for this intake and hopefully have enough money to have head work and supercharger purchase done
  17. I'm interested in the kit ill take two if its not too late
  18. Looking good i'm curious to see it finished. I don't know if there's much problem with pcm getting wet?
  19. Hello everyone, I had been enjoying my trooper in snow and mud and can't wait to take it to ATV parks and such as. I replaced my cooling fan for one from silver bullet it was pretty tight fit but anyways after I got done putting new fan and shroud in. I found my wires pulled out of my connector its for the oxygen sensor that go post/after the catalyst convertor. Can anyone please tell me which wires go in which slot (A-D)? Thanks Brandon
  20. Seem like this one have to be spliced in while silver bullet one just plug in
  21. Sounds good so I just need to order pair of dual caliper bracket and second set of caliper and brake lines for front? Brandon
  22. That looks good and factory. I'm asking because my trooper have two calipers on both rear wheels so I'm wondering what parts would I need to buy to make front dual? I also noticed your calipers are side by side next to each other on my trooper rear set up both caliper are halfway apart on rotor at 9 o clock and 3 o clock Was yours the same way?
  23. Hey Lenny, I'm curious what did it take to mount two caliper on both front wheel? Thanks Brandon
  24. Lol I like logging roads and I have taken my trooper into woods where only quads and dirty bikes can go no truck or tractor could penetrate the woods at all and went over fell logs no problem it did very good for me I only like high speed for fields and gravel road to get from one spot to other spot and AC/cab isn't important to me yet lol it do get hot/humid in Iowa in summer recent summer it was as high as 115/120 and sticky it was terrible if u didn't have any breeze on you. I think maybe silver bullet motorsport might have valves for u or maybe u could take measurements of valves and order stronger better ones? Those shim packs I heard cause more trouble than help down the road from my automotive class teacher, i'm currently in diesel/medium heavy duty trucks class ill ask the teacher in that what he thinks of those. He's a whiz at engines Also i'm not a fan of taking some amount off the tip of stem
