  1. Silverbullet.

    We have 1 in stock call 928 344 2117.

I have a question for you Trooper owners. Any of you that have replaced shocks I would like to know what products you purchased what the pros. & cons are. How much did you pay total? Did you have to modify anything? Was it an easy install or, a pain in the butt? And what was the lenght did you choose and what was the travel of the shocks. Was a small resiovor needed?

We are in the process of creating a custom built shock for the Troopers Complete bolt on no modifacations needed.

We are looking to put out a reasonably priced product giving you a nice ride and good handling together. We have teamed up with AFCO shocks. Also T2-T4

    Please reply asap,

    Thanks

  2. I was wondering if anybody had a rt front axle for a 2008 Trooper 2? One of the cv joints is toast, it's clicking pretty bad. I can't find anyone that has one-JMC has one on order for me and it will be here once they get their containers but I wanna ride now!. I'll just buy the other one from JMC when it comes in and have it as a spare. It seems to turn sharper to the right than to the left so maybe it got over-extended.I'm still baffled as to why it ripped the boot with only 3200km on the clock, it's an 08' and you would figure it would hold up longer than that-It was a pretty severe trail we were on about 6 hours +in and out, Martinez Cabin and the Coke ovens in Florence,AZ-highly recommend this trip. Florence Coke Ovens - Arizona Motorcycle and ATV Trails

Anyhow, would appreciate any help on locating an axle. I would really like to find out if Joyner sources these axles from some other type of vehicle that we could cross-ref? I can't find anything on that but maybe Joyner has these custom made for their particular application.

    Hi

Silverbullet i have 1 front c/v axle in stock.Should be able to get more if any body needs one.

I have heard some question about elect power steering. We have made custom fabracted brackets for Trooper Renegade Vipers. With these brackets you can install elect. power steering in less than 2-3 hours. The unit bolts near the firwall so you would have to get real deep in water. The unit is sealed but i would not dump it in my pool.Besides that we are using 30" tires with turbo and had no problems. It comes with every thing you need.It comes with led test system that every time you start sidexside. It lets you know if thear is a problem. The system if gets to hot it will go to safe mode you will have regular steering when it cools off it starts working.Never happen to us but it nice to know you wont be stuck in the middle of no whear.Comes with 1 year warranty and life time on brackets.

We have been looking for and afforadable shocks. We have join forces with Steve Chase of AFCO shocks.WE have given them a Trooper and they are going to make a Custom shock with varable rate springs and custom valved 2" shock made for the Trooper.Great ride and good performance. They will be afforable shocks and rebuildable.Steve also makes Makin'Trax Suspension.

If you have any sound import let me know.

Comeing soon a custom guage kit.Guages will be water proof and will be easy to install.Replace the junk guages once and for all.Oil-Gas-Temp-Alt.Also retro fit oil temp guage optional.

  4. Silverbullt.

The uni-steer is sealed. But is not a fish.It should be ok.It will take the 30 inch tires ok.All the race sidexside are starting to use it.Because it holds up.

The elect power steering mounts high near the fire wall.It works great with 30" tires & Lockers. We have sold over 21 Kits and no proublums. We have loged over 200 miles on our trooper with 30" tires and had no proublums. We dont use it in the mud We have no mud hear in Yuma. But we due rock crauling all the time.We have fabracated all mounts for Trooper Renegade Vipers they are all bolt on system.Even a novice could install it in 2 - 3 hr.1year waranty on the unit and life time on the mounts. We sell the full line for every sidexside price varys. It also comes with a led self test every time you start .

We now carry elect steer for Troopers and Rengades. This system is easy to install. It mounts with to 2 bolts in exiting holes. No drilling needed.Install 6 wires and your done.At this time you will have to cut lower shaft so you have room for unit. But we should get shafts in a couple of weeks.

We have tested this system for quit a long time.2- 3 hours to install. We used our Turbo Trooper With 30" tires. With Lockers on No problem. Also fail safe system if it gets to hot it will shut down. And you eill have reg. steering. This never happen to us. Stops bump steer

    1 year warrenty.Life time on fab.bracket

  6. Silverbulletmotorsports.net

We have finely finshed our Electric power steering. We have tested it for 2 months. It Works great.our T2 has Turbo with 30" tires .It mounts up to factory holes no drilling.Just wire 6 wire and your done.At this time we have to order some lower shafts. Now since we dont have a source for new ones yet.. So you need to weld lower shaft.Any shop should be able to weld it. Big tires & Lockers no problem.Works great on rocks and sand.Soon as you turn key on it starts working. It has a safety bilt in if it gets hot it shuts down. Then it goes to manual steering. When cools down it starts up.We never got it to due this.No lost power from pump no hoses to run or leak.1 year warrantee. Life time on mounting kit.

  7. I would say pull it out and take it apart, Take lots of photos as you do it so you can share it, It's not that hard to do,

to get the CVs loose at the diff, use a pry bar to pop them loose, I use a green 3 foot nail bar. On my rear diff the input shaft has a pin through it. Be sure and put some sort of marking on the drive shaft to diff input so you can put it back the way it comes apart, I'm not absolutely sure the pin is perfectly centered. Here's some photos I took when I tore mine down and put in strong bolts.

Differential Photos pictures, photos, and videos, from travel on webshots

Good luck, sounds like you need some.

    Kinarfi

    Hi

Silverbulletmotorsports.net we have 1 new diff. in stock

  8. Silverbulletmotorsports.net

We have just finshed our electra-steer system. It bolts in to factory holes so no drilling needed. Remove hood. Bolt system in takes about 1/2 hr. Then all you due is wire in to ingition. And to battery. Now you are ready to go. Complete install time is about 1 1/2 hours. If system fails it goes back to manual steering. No being stuck in the middle of no where. We have tested this system for 2 mo. It has worked trouble free. Troopers-Renegade-Vipers. Cost is $1099.00 It took a long time but worth every penny.

Has Joyner Parts original new parts.Joyner is going to be reopen soon.We think we can still supply Joyner customers with new parts. We also make custom parts to make your Joyner more reliable and fun to drive.Hard Enclousers for T2 in stock. We are making the 4x4 elect. unit with.a cable

unit. You will not have to take your drive shaft out or your diff housing off.Ours will use a fab.bracket to mount the cable to the diff. stainless steal cable an a lever to switch 2 wheel to 4 wheel drive.

  10. I had a set of douglus wheels laying around with the 5 hole patern. 10" wide rims. I redrilled the holes for the correct bolt pattern. Tried the tires first with high air pressure so the tires would spin. The tires worked alot better with low preassure (no wrinkles in the walls) Water temp stayed around 190 the whole time. It was a blast beiing abable to break the back tires loose when turning going from bowl to bowl. The tires really help on the ground clearance issue. there was none.

    Hi

  12. Sivlerbullet the piture you show on the uni-steer on your web site is that the one you would get with that bracket that bracket is also used for the polaris ranger. Do you match other dealer price

I have T2 hear one of the first ones.I have never made one because they are so few around. If you want I will make up a new bracket and kit to fit the early trooper.Let me know.

    Thanks Rick

  13. electric sounds good but has any one done anything to the stock rack? my rack is getting pretty loose and seems pretty poor quality also the steering radius isnt that great. It would be nice to correct all the steering issues all at one time. Any suggestions?

    Silverbullet.

Replace it with a quality rack cost 150.00 to 200.00

  14. I have the latest joyner kit and it is not as touchy as the first but it does rob HP being that it is hydraulic. The reason I chose this kit is because I run tracks in the winter and I was afraid that the electric would not be powerful enough. I have seen atvs with electric steer and tracks not be able to over come heavy snow. If your system would work with tracks I would be very interested then I wouldn't loose HP.

    Thanks ED

    Silverbullet.

I dont know .Tracks maybe to much all I know is they use this in the Baja 500 & 1000 an had no problem.

  15. It isn't touchy at all at any speed. We are still using the original steering box. The power steering is mounted to the rack and pinion so it won't be in the way of your gas tank. I'll send you some pictures in a week or two.

    Lenny

    silverbullet.

no its not touchy at speed it is power steering it will feel light. On pavement it is light but not touchy.A new steering rack would be good but the old one will be ok.

    Rick

  16. A joyner trooper but the one you show on your web site the bracket is the same as a ranger an I can get one for 900.00 from another dealer (that why I ask if you price match other dealers price) but he don't know if it fits joyner but it has the same bracket that you show on your web site

    Silverbullet.

No we make our own bracket,s.Thats why we charge more.

  17. Sivlerbullet the piture you show on the uni-steer on your web site is that the one you would get with that bracket that bracket is also used for the polaris ranger. Do you match other dealer price

    Silverbullet.

Do you need it for Ranger.Or a joyner Trooper.

  18. I was wondering if anyone has made any power steering setup's that have worked good. I have looked at the electric power steering on the silver bullet web page but am not sure if it will last on my trooper with all the water i drive in and 30 inch mud lights. Any suggestions?

    Silverbullt.

The uni-steer is sealed. But is not a fish.It should be ok.It will take the 30 inch tires ok.All the race sidexside are starting to use it.Because it holds up.

  19. I was just on Team Joyner's website looking at the hard tops for the T2 - this is the first I have seen the camo hard top with soft doors - that is exactly what ours looked like. Again, we did not like the doors because of the way they zipped open, and the tripping hazard they created. When you opened the windows, the flap just hung, with no where to tuck it. We assumed it would fly in the wind. We never left the house with it, while the doors were attached. The doors are not easily removable, either. Hubby says he is going to modify removable jeep doors and attach those.

    Silverbullet.

They have hard doors for T2 They come in black They do have the doors in stock cost 275.00 ea.May be camo to.
