Hey I am new to this and I just recently bought a Joyner Trooper T2. I have enjoyed reading all the posts about Joyner problems and solutions as my husband and I have had many problems of our own with ours. We live in central Oklahoma and we were wondering if anyone knows of any place close to us that we can go ride. We have tried going to a couple of offroading places near where we live but the Joyner is too wide for most of the trails and it justs gets frustrating having to turn around all the time because the trails are too narrow. If anyone has any suggestions we would be very grateful.

Welcome to the Forum, we have a bunch of good folks that like to help, as you have read. Look forward to hearing more from you.

Wish I could help, but I have never been in your part of the country. I use Googleearth to preview a lot of the places I want to go, maybe it will help you also.

Again, Welcome to the forum,

Kinarfi

Thanks for the welcome. I haven't noticed anyone on here from this area but I was hoping I would get lucky. Does anyone have any suggestions for us before we take our Joyner through any more mud and water? So far we had to change out a starter because we packed it full of mud so we sealed the new starter back up with a thin ring gasket material. We sealed our fuse boxes because blew all the fuses and relays by caking them full of mud. We changed out the air filter with a K&N and added a homemade snorkel. Also we spent about two weeks cleaning it and trying to get all the mud off. We just wanted to make sure that we are not overlooking anything that needs to be done before we take it through the next big mudhole.

Welcome to the forum. Good bunch of people here. We all benifit from each other a lot. You might check with the jeep clubs. They always have trails and a lot of them can be good fun. Try entering "wider utv trails in oklahoma" into google, also try some other wording. I've found a lot of trails this way. There out there. When I first bought my Trooper, everybody was asking where I was going to ride it because of narrower trails. After digging and hunting, I found they are all over. Good luck.

I have a Coleman Outfitter 550 purchased in January 2022 that runs and operates pretty well.  65 hours on it so far.   It is a work vehicle for my 10 hilly acres with two 1 acre woods and 5 acres of "lawn".  The rest is under a lake.
My parking brake does not seem to have any grip.  It worked when new but after a month or so, it is just almost useless.     I press the parking brake pedal hard until it stops. Still, it won't hold even on slight inclines.   I don't see the caliper move as I press the brake pedal down.  There seems to be plenty of pad left on it and the rotor is shiny as if it is rubbing a little when applied, but not enough to stop it from rolling.
      Any thoughts on possible causes?

Put a new carb on the 500 to replace the leaking OE one.  Machine idles fine and mid and top end runs great.  It tends to have a hesitation right from the start - bottom end.   Thinking it may be the air/fuel screw??  I didn't do anything with the carb out of the box and is it direct replacement for my machine.  Of interest is the manual choke doesn't seem to work very good now.... wonder is it getting too much air?

      Any help appreciated!
