Checked my O2 sensors today, they were both good, Seimans VDO 5WY3173A with 7M12 stamped on the shoulder of the 22mm hex head.

Learned something I thought was interesting, when cold, the white lead for power measure about 6 ohms and the sensor lead measure open. If you power it up 12 volts, it draws 2 amps. As it was heating up, I was measuring resistance and saw the resistance go from open to zero to negative. That only happens when you are measuring a voltage with your meter on resistance.

The output appears to be a voltage from about .65 volts to - .025 depending on which way you hook up your leads.

On mine, when in free air or with air from my air compressor blowing on it, it measured -.025 volts, when I lowered into a can with gasoline in it, not into the gas, just above it, the voltage went to .65 volts, when I blew on it, it went close to 0 volts, when exposed to butane gas from a lighter, not lit, the voltage went from -.025 to about -.010, but I don't how much gas I was getting on it, shut have tried a lit lighter, but I didn't think to.

I have been having a tough time starting my Trooper, which is why I was checking the O2 sensors and I pulled the IAC and after cleaning it good, inside and out with brake cleaner fluid, I plugged it back and had my wife turn the key on while I watched the IAC. It ran and moved the "bullet" up so far that I couldn't put it back in. To get it back down, I had to squeeze it while my wife turned the key on and off several times, I could keep it from coming out any further, but couldn't get it to go back in until I opened the throttle and blocked it open. Then it backed off and I installed it.

After I got my Trooper running, warmed up, driven around some, and parked in the garage, I unplugged the IAC to see if it starts up OK after it cools and has set for a while. If it does, I'll cover the terminal and leave it that way.

around here if you blow on it and it goes above .08 it means your above the legal limit(LOL)

Your 02 sensor should not cause hard starts because the computer should be in an open loop which means that the computer is using a pre programmed fuel map and not looking at the 02 sensors. Also your sensors need to be hot to be tested some people use a torch but you can hook up the 2 wires on the sensor that are used to pre heat the sensor with 12v to get the system into a closed loop quicker. My trooper used to start bad and surge at idle but it was because it went for a swim and the computer isnt sealed up at all. Anyway hope you find it

Hi everyone and I hope that is not a too forward questions for us newbies.
My husband and I are ready (next Spring) to open our newly developed nudist campground in Iowa and we are now looking for interesting activities to host.
Don't worry we are not going to try and sell you a membership because as of 2 weeks ago all of our 50 campsites are sold out for the 2024 season.
It was my job to sell site and now that is complete i am looking for interesting actives host for weekend.
We have 300 acres of woods, grassland, swamps and 2 small ponds/lakes and dozens of miles of riding trails.
we have gotten county approval for the complete 300 acres to be clothing optional.
We think we have a great spot for a weekend or several day ATV / mudder event.
Clothing would be optional for all participants and plenty of room for overnight camping and outdoor group showers.
Now we are looking to you pro  ATV riders to let us know if you think your group of people would fit in with ours.
Feel free to ask anything you would like to get a better idea of what we offer.

Hello. I have a 2016 Massimo MSU 500. I was putting on a lightbar and i screwed up and didn't disconnect the battery so when i was taking of the positive cable to put on the power from the lightbar it sparked and now the utv has no power. I turn the key over and all i hear is a chirp. No lights or anything. Everything that comes from the battery to the jumper box up by the battery shows voltage but anything coming out does not such as to the winch or anything like that

Just purchased this Old Hisun and it included with a box with a brand new EPS kit. I found YouTube University installation videos and it looks doabke, but maybe the kit is made for newer models because mine doesn't have any extra open plug and play wires I see in the videos that woukd allow me to seamlessly connect the EPS wiring harness too. Has anyone ever retrofitted an EPS kit to a 16 year old model?
Thank you for any usable input offered.
      Sincerely,
      Surfalia

I have a 2019 hi sun 750 I parked it in my garage last fall and about a month later I went to ride it and I had no power but the battery shows good. I’ve taken the ignition switch out and cleaned it. I cleaned the battery terminals and replace the main relay all my fuses are good. I still show strong battery but get no power, can anyone help or have any ideas? I have yet to find any wires chewed up like from a mouse or anything all the wiring looks good.

This was happening to me regularly with the original battery pack, I would drive a few yards and power cut to the motor, no error code, dash works, lights etc, just no drive. Brake lights not on so I don’t think it’s a switch thing. Sometimes it would go back to normal after a few day sitting in the barn. I ended up changing to lithium ion battery 100amp 48v and the problem completely went away for two months so I figured it was something worth the old battteries. Now it’s doing the same thing again, I’ve removed every main electrical connection, cleaned it good, and put it back together. Battery is at100 percent and good voltage. What is interesting is it doesn’t matter how much power I’m drawing, if I’m just creeping along in low or flooring it in high it stops after the same amount of time, about 7 seconds. If I let go of the acceleration right before the 7 seconds I can keep driving like that indefinitely but obviously that’s pretty annoying. Or if I switch immediately to reverse I can back up  and go back to F without cycling the key. Has anyone else run into this? It really seems like a safety switch issue to me but unsure what else to check.
