Growing old is for the birds. After my radiator adventure I put my radiator cap away in a safe place. It must be safe because I can't find it. Does anyone know what size it is for the Trooper engine, and if one might be available at a local parts house? I would like to get one right away if possible.

I did the same thing with my Chrysler 300 transponder key. The dealer said for a mere $287.00 they would replace it. Needless to say I'm using my wives bunny rabbit key. Let em laugh, I don't want to come out of retirement to buy a damn car key.

CASE SOLVED -

After issuing a APB (all panic bulletin) further investigation resulted in the discovery of the missing cap. It was found in a plastic bag about 3 feet from my office chair. Closer examination showed it is a 16lb cap with no further identifying marks.

I see you have gremlins too, have yours learned to braid yet, mine love to braid my meter leads and tangle them with other wires, hide parts, pieces and tools and give them back after I find replacements.

I have been searching and can't find much info on these units. Pretty surprising as every other thing I own I find a lot of info on. Researching for tech info and such it's like no one owns any of these yet I see them everywhere.

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!
