Well I am just working away on boats, I picked up a new hobby, racing rc cars and trucks, I have managed to squeez 3.75hp out of my 0.21 CID engine on 30% nitro, so that's been keeping me busy, also we had another addition to the family 2 months ago so that takes up the rest of my free time. Other than that life's great on my end, how about everyone else?

Wow, that's 3.44cc or 1.09hp per cc. Lets see, my Trooper is 1083cc so that would be 1180hp. That's better then the double A fuel dragsters. I could lite up all 4 wheels with that kind of power, in 5th. RC cars are pretty neat and with that kind of power they must be real extream. We have missed you on the board but we are all still one big happy family. Things for me have been good. Building a new roll cage and have changed my fenders a bit, added carbon fibre racing seats and a glass windshield (rear window of a 1972 Maverick, It will be a whole new look. Won't have pics until March. Still a work in progress.

Ford product on a Joyner? Well there is at least one part that will be reliable :) I will grab some photos and vid of my truck after it stops raining and dries up a bit. I have been experimenting with mixing my own fuel, turning out well so far, although my garage work shop looks like a mad scientist was turned loose in there

Do you use methenol in your mixture to help keep things cool. I did that when I was running nitro in my motorcycle hillclimber, a stretched out and stripped down 750 cc Triumph pushing about 115hp.. It backfired once when trying to start it and broke the cylinder head off at its base. Wild stuff that nitro.

Yes methanol and nitro and a special mix of oils 30% nitro, 61% methanol, 9% oil. I bought a used motor, and when it comes in I am going to shim the head to lower compression a bit, go 2 steps colder on the plug, then try a 45% nitro 48% methanol, and 7% oil mix, since it is not my race motor, if it blows the rod out the bottom, not a big deal, but if things work well then I will work it on over to the other engine.

Rc vehicles are a blast .... I have owned and raced cars from 1/12th thru 1/4 scale. On road and off road. Even had a elec motorcycle in there somewhere.

Currently have 1/6 scale rc tank thet shoots paintballs and a couple 1/16 scale tanks that shoot airsoft.

Merry Christmas to all.

Bought my 2009 Yamaha Rhino, (fuel injected of course), recently from the original owner. Only had 500 miles and 70hrs. Starts reliably, however, it will not idle but about 50% of the time. Also, when driving slow in low or high, that is to say, relatively low rpms and below about 10 mph, it bucks and almost wants to die..... not smooth at all. However, at speed (say 12-15 mph or more) it runs very well, like it should. Any ideas?

Just bought a brand new 2022 (NOS) Sector E1 with Lithium upgrade. (Single 135ah/200amp continuous). I've climbed a moderate hill in my woods probably 20 times since buying it. Today It won't climb it unless I am in Low. In High it almost makes it and then completely dies and I have to roll back down the hill. In Mid range (Max Range) I can't get 2 feet up the hill and the power output in only 100 amps, I have climbed this hill in every speed before many times. I put it on the trailer tonight and it wouldn't even get on the dang trailer in mid range. Torque is gone. That being said, when I am just cruising around in Midrange, it runs absolutely perfect with plenty of power. The only thing I did was charge it up, that is all. I charged to 100% using the charger that came with the battery. Before you think the BMS is shutting down due to overcharge protection, remember I am going UP hill so there is no regeneration AND I have done it before at 100% charge AND another big problem is that after 1 mile it is already down to 85% so it's not over charging and why is the battery draining so fast when I got 27 miles before. Battery output is fine in Low it pulls 200 amp up the hill just like normal so that doesn't point to the battery being the issue. All the individual cells on the battery are in line, so there is no dead cell either. I am tech savvy but to toward electric motors and I tried to cover all my bases. Please don't tell me basics like torque is reduced in High and Mid. The only thing I can think of is that I smelled something when I took my first drive today and I thought it was the Ebrake dragging but there was the correct amount of play in the cable and I jacked up the rear wheels and they spin freely. maybe something burned out in the motor, I do not knowm still runs great, we'll see if I have any trouble on the hills at the lake house this weekend. Maybe this is "Normal" and the settings were off before and was giving equal torque for whatever reason instead of 50% in Mid and 70% in High like the manual says....
For reference....this is it not even able to get on the trailer in mid range

The steering shaft is slipping,I checked it's tight as the bolt will take at the u-joint.. Is there a slot or something it may have jumped? This is right after the shaft enters the area under the hood.Thanks.

Hi everybody. I just bought a 2012 Hisun with the 700cc engine. Was wondering where i could find a service manual for this thing?
Its going to need some parts that are missing, like the air intake hoses and other things. Also the dash display is out. the only light that works is neutral light. Not even sure on the model. from pics I've seen, it looks like an HS700. Kind of grey with the black stripes on the hood. Just hoping i can find parts for it.
Thank you for any advice you can give me. By the way, it does run and goes forward and reverse.

I got an old 2003 Arctic Cat 375 Auto, and just bought a 2008 AC 650 side by side. Got a new starter, solenoid, and battery for the 650. Gonna change the crankcase oil and filter while I'm at it.
Anything I oughta watch out for from them that's done the starter/solenoid on this model?
Don't have a manual yet for the 650. Any recommendations for oil weight/grade?
      Thanks.
