Hello all.  A note to introduce myself,  I'm at 40 something-year-old guy living in (Prince George )  British Columbia Canada,   As far as I can remember I have been a motorsports enthusiast.  I bought the first model year of the Rhino when it was released ( is gone now, which I regret selling ) have a Ranger 700XP decked for hunting with lift and 30" Swamp Litres, full heated cab, enough lumens to start a forest fire, and many other mods.  I have a 2016 RZR XP 1000 and just picked up from a friend a 2009 Joyner 1100 Trooper.   This Trooper is a unique rig.  it only has 120m mile son it but has sat in the weather so long it looks kinda crappy.  In fact, the tires are still "sharp" with the little "tits" still on in many places but are no good and won't hold air bc they are sun checked so bad.   At any rate, this is going to be my project rig for this winter.

I joined last Saturday bc I was curious to see what you guys were doing with your Joyners, as I want to put on a Turbo this winter.  As such, I scoured this forum to see if there was a "go-to-kit"  for the Joyner.  I couldn't  really seem to find a consensus.

Can you guys recommend a turbo kit for me?!  It doesn't have to be intercooled , (it is bloody cold up here LOL) as we don't run in 100-degree temperatures,.  Maybe 75 or 80 during the summer. and in the 30's and 40's in spring and fall.

I don't want to run race or AV gas, just good quality premium, so I'm guessing that means I'm going to be looking for a kit in the 5 to 6 lbs. of boost range.   All thought and comments would be great;y appreciated. I'd like to be able to d0o it myself( I'm probably slightly better than average on the tools, but by no means, an expert -with fabricating being my main weakness)),  I own a Powersports store in Kamloops,  BC called  Outlawmotorsports.ca  (Polaris /Yamaha dealership)  so I  have great techs if I need them but there is something to be said about doing the project yourself.  \

Thanks guys, looking forward to being part of this forum.

Hey all, I was just wondering what you guys consider a necessary upgrade or spare part to have or mod onto your machine.
I'm going for a kind of shtf survival rig that's not going to be SUPER heavy and I'm looking at getting:
A spare belt (I keep seeing this mentioned everywhere I look so it must be important)
A spare tire and mount( So would I need a jack like one from an old jeep or something else?)
      Tire chains for the winter
And maybe a cargo bed upgrade so things don't slide out.
      Bumpers because duh.
I already installed high output lights and have a windshield, roof, back window, and winch. And I outfitted a Molle panel for the back of my passenger seat with extra supplies like food, first aid, and spare mags.
Any advise on increasing durability, longevity, and having something on hand because it's absolutely necessary would be a plus.
      Thanks so much!

Bought my 2009 Yamaha Rhino, (fuel injected of course), recently from the original owner. Only had 500 miles and 70hrs. Starts reliably, however, it will not idle but about 50% of the time. Also, when driving slow in low or high, that is to say, relatively low rpms and below about 10 mph, it bucks and almost wants to die..... not smooth at all. However, at speed (say 12-15 mph or more) it runs very well, like it should. Any ideas?

Just bought new 2024 AODES 650 work cross 2 seated for my dad and he's very resilient at 79 and still cuts trees, splits and hauls firewood for heating home. He's begun using Polaris ATV with wagon more over his 80's toyo4x4 flatbed after the wood has been split. I figured UTV would be easier, more practical at times and more fun. It does not have a heater and would like suggestions on one that best suits his. He's tough but gets chilled easy now and a heater would make joyriding much better at this time of year. I Have found nothing that specifically Says it's made for this particular UTV I don't know what to make of the More generic Hacher versions Or how adaptable they are. I've read They have come from the factory with Heaters but It says nothing about Adding
