Good to have you here Tim, the place wouldn't be the same without you. There has already been alot of good posts with plenty to get on with and all without you know what in between. UTV Board is easy to navigate around plus new ideas are welcomed by the staff here & with just discussing Joyner talk by Joyner people, it's a pleasure. Enjoy. I'll send you a PM soon.

Cheers Mike

Folks, how do you possibly narrow down the many choices and options for a quality side by side.
something with power, built to last, 4 seater, for farm and camping and kentucky hills and mountains….

I have purchased a 650cc Utv that is in good mechanical condition but the Electrical system is a mess and is not my strong suit. I have purchased a new Regulator, coil and Distributer but I am having trouble wiring it all up as some of the wiring has been cut and removed. I have found a wiring diagram on line but is not colour coded.
My first job, of many, is to connect up the Rectifier Regulator. On the wiring diagram it has 3 wires running to the alternator (2 only wires currently as pictured but 3 pin plug) and one wire running to the positive of the coil.
Can anyone advise what wires goes where please? I assume the red wire from the rectifier will run to the +coil.
      Regards Mark

I have a barn find Challenger 750 that was in parts. After getting it all back together it will not start with the key. I believe that there is something wrong with the safety switch on the brake switch. I can start it with a push button   I also think it’s with the safeguards on the machine
      Thanks Jon
