2021 T-Boss 410 — and yet another story from someone who bought one brand new without thinking twice about the fact there's no real service department like you'd find at an actual dealership.

The Problem:
Around 20mph, it bogs down like it's choking on something. Pedal to the floor, it sounds like it wants to go, but it just won’t. Makes no difference if it’s in 2WD or 4WD—same sluggish result. Reverse works fine. Shifts between 2WD, 4WD, and neutral without issue.

I’ve searched online but can’t find anything specific that matches what I’m (admittedly) guessing might be wrong. Truth is—I have no clue what the fk the actual issue is, and I don’t have the kind of mechanical memory others seem to when tearing these apart. That said, I’m good with my hands and can follow directions—I just don’t have any clear ones to follow right now. Any help or pointing to the right direction would be appreciated- next closest massimo service center was "fk you" miles away they said,

Mileage is at 1,568. As for the bogging issue, I tracked it down to the MAP sensor—a wire underneath had a clean break in a spot I couldn’t see. I got it patched up, and that fixed the problem. From what I read, the vehicle was going into "limp mode."

It’s been running fine for about a week, but now there’s a new issue…

After driving for a while—usually at a steady cruising speed—something starts clanking loudly from what feels like under the seat. It’s pretty intense and only happens after the vehicle's been going for a bit, so I’m guessing it’s heat-related. I have to stop and let it cool down before I can go again. Based on what I’ve read, it could be the clutch, but I’m not sure which part exactly

Actually its been running fine for a long time now..after spending a ton of money fixing all the problms that plague Massimos   the biggest issue I had was once you drove it off the lot, Massimo and Hisun refused to warrenty anything. As you know mine broke in its first mile. And multiple times in first few months. They refused to fix it

Are you using good wet clutch oil?

I have never even attempted to look at it let alone would I know how without instructions.

Just sending an update out into the world here- T-boss has been sitting out in the workshop and just now getting time to re-visit this thing. Read online this could potentially be shift lever or shift cable adjustment, possible that it may not properly be engaging at high speed or something? Anyone have thoughts on this?

So with seat belt on  I can only get up to 20mph then it starts bucking until I get under 20 again. Diconnected the seatbelt and same thing. Reconnected seatbelt and unplugged speed sensor. Zoom..it flies. But now I have no speedometer. I have a new speedometer sensor on the way..any other ideas?

I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.

I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

Can anyone please tell me or send a link as to how & where to hook up a code reader to my 2021 Hisun 500 Axis.  I have a 6 pin to a 18 pin  adaptor and the blue cord VAG KKL adaptor .Just not sure where or what to hook up to. Can I use your typical vehicle code reader or do I need to download something on a laptop or PC???
