UTV vs Truck Tires

I think I used the search function properly but I couldn't find the pros and cons of using truck tires vs ATV type tires....

Would you all post your thoughts on this please ??? Along with your performance experiances ???

I have used Bighorns on a Rhino in the past and was very pleased with thier performance and abilities.....

I am in need of new tires for the desert (Las Vegas) and mountain trails (Duck Creek, UT area)........My stockers are leaking out the sidewall.....

Yea, had the side wall leaks on my FarEasts also, now have General Grabber AT2 8.50X27X14 tire on now, but I haven't used the very much yet. My driving is mostly trails and road, rocky, sandy and if possible NO MUD, hate mud. I like them so far, but that's only about 50 miles so far. Only got 2836 kilometers on the fronts and they were trashed, I think these will probably last the rest of my life.

That's the question! Or, if you want to add details:
      (a) How do you use the UTV? (roads? off-road to get to trees? etc.)
      (b) If you are wearing a helmet--how frequently? What type of helmet?

My own answers: (a) Most of the time off-road to get to downed trees, cut the trees to logs and haul the logs back for splitting. (b) Very rarely, a ski helmet and not a motorcycle helmet.

When researching the Tracker, I was interested in the 800SX LE. The original sales literature indicated that the LE came with 27x9x14 and 27x11x14 tires. When I went to pick up my Tracker, it had 26” tires on it. I called Tracker before paying for the Tracker and was told they had supply issues and could not get 27” tires. I’m curious to know if anyone has taken delivery of an LE with 27” tires in stalled? I just recently installed 27” tires and am happy with the added ground clearance and beefy look the machine has taken on!

I’m looking to have my 2022 800sx fit in the 10’ garage of my toy hauler. I thought about removing the dump bed, so I wondered how far the dump extends beyond the tires.  Thanks!

I realize that many of you do not have diesel machines.  For those that do, this is for you:
Just wanted to post my experience this past week.  Here in Texas, we had pretty good dip in temps.  For 4 days it did not get above 25.  At night, it was single digits or close to it.  I always put Sta-Bil fuel stabilizer in the storage tank (30 gallon).  And up until this tank I was using Power Service (white bottle) for anti-gel.  Never had an issue.
This tank, however, I switched to Stabil All season (anti gel).  It is supposed to good down to -40.  Zap.  That is a big fat lie.  I put in twice the amount called for in the instructions.  Result was less than optimal.  I drove the SxS 100 feet (to go get the mail) and it died.  I looked at the fuel bowl and it was a cloudy, wax substance.  So, the Stabil did not work.  That said, I'm not sure that I ever tested the Power Service in the same manner.  So I am not saying that one is better than the other.
What are your experiences?  Are these products inferior?  What do you folks in the northern states / Canada use?  Am I missing something?
