Quacks

Hello all.

Recommended Posts

Big hello to everyone from over here in Australia, I recently purchased an 09 Joyner Trooper T2 and herd this was the place to

share a few stories and tech information so here I am :)

Looking forward to meeting some like minded people who share the same interests and hopefully some other Trooper owners.

Cheers

Your going to like it here Quacks. I hope every thing is all good over there for you after the bush fires that are still burning. We get 4WD TV over here and have seen some of the beautiful tracks around Victoria which have no doubt been affected but that's nothing compared to the huge amount of lives lost and homes burnt down. The irony is we are having amazing sunsets over here in NZ because the smoke from the fires has reached us and gives us a good show every night with red, orange and yellow sunsets.

Cheers Mike.

Welcome

I enjoy hearing how owners from all over the world are abusing and modifying their machines......

I had been wanting to install power steering on my T4 for years so I went to the salvage yard last weekend and bought a complete column (minus airbag) out of a 2009 Nissan Versa for $125 with the ECU.
It was a fairly simple install. The long shaft that fits to the Joyner steering rack actually fit perfectly into the Nissan column. Had to weld up a U joint on the Nissan column to make it a straight shaft and fab up one simple bracket. Connect power and ground plus a switched 12v and now I can steer with one hand!

I am interested in any old trooper axle parts you may have lying around. Please let me know if your want to sell them.
      Backstory:
Hey everyone. Last trip out to moab I climbed a wall on poison spyder Mesa while 2 rzr xp1000's and three can am x3 xrc's watched me and didn't dare try. After doing it once I pulled around to show them it wasn't a fluke. One on the can am x3 xrc drivers just looked at me and said "that's steep". On the second try I spread the bell on the left rear axle. I made the climb but now the inner cage slips inside making a loud popping noise as twisting the boot. I mainly just need the inner bell but I am interested in anything you have.

Anyone have an outer cv joint ball cage? Mine is cracked up. Other than that it's a good axel.

I have a Joyner 1100cc Sand Viper in need of repair.  Does anyone know a repair shop or mechanic that services these in southern California?

      Hello-

New to the forum so luckily there is some help out there lol. Recently bought a 2008 Joyner 1600cc sand viper and loving it. Took it out and had a little accident with a tree stump lol. The stump hit directly on my passenger side tie rod end and broke the heim joint that connects the tie rod end to the wheel. Does anyone know the size of the adjustable heim joint so I can order one? I am having a hard time sourcing one quickly. I am also guessing since it is an outter tie rod end, that it is LH pitched rather than RH? thanks for any help anyone can provide. This is again for the outter tie rod end heim joint that snapped. Thanks
