We purchased this UTV less than 60 days ago and now I am having issues with drained battery. Used UTV for about an hour then stopped and when I went to start back up my battery was to low to start it. Jumped it and it started right up and ran fine back home. Tested charging and it’s not charging while running. Can it be anything other than the stater??? Can I look for something that I can fix Quik or does it have to go to the authorized service center to stay under warranty? It will take some time to get it in and out of service

Could be the voltage regulator.  Its job is to change the AC current from the stator to DC, and regulate it between 12 and 15 volts output as needed at different amperages as needed.

This machine should still be under warranty.

So can test the power going into the voltage regulator to verify that it’s not putting out the right power, and if so where is it cuz I’m not seeing what I think it should look like?

I can't help with that problem, but, I've had the same machine since April.  Did my first oil change with a filter I ordered from the Motorcycle Doctor.  Worked great but figured there had to be one I could get locally.  Checked the other day and found water in my oil.  Drained it but didn't change the filter.  I cleared up quite a bit so I changed it again and did the filter also.  Found that a Purolator L14215 oil filter from Tractor Supply fits perfectly.

I think the water is condensation  in  the motor from not letting it warm up enough.  The water bottle and radiator hasn't lost any fluid at all.  Too many short trips and not letting it get hot enough.

Good luck on your problem and don't forget to let us know what you find.  I've had mine attached to a battery tender junior since it got cold here.

Hi Terry,

I have a axis 700 that is doing the same thing.  Runs great, charges while running, but when it sits for any length of time it drains the battery.   Did you ever find what is draining your battery?

Thanks,

Ron

Joe, do you have a volt meter?

What is the voltage on the battery with the machine off? How about with the engine running?

They do have a small parasitic draw just like almost every other vehicle, and the battery will drain over time. With any toy that isn't used frequently you should hook up a battery tender or small solar panel, or unhook the battery when not in use so it will work when you want it to.

I am having electrical problems with our 2022 AXIS 500 UTV. We have less than 500 miles all was well, then all of a sudden the 10 amp fuse that operates the directional lights, brake lights, ignition and taillights. I have replaced it once but only lasted a day. I'm wondering if anyone else had the same issue. The nearest service center is over 100 miles away.

The link above is the schematic for your UTV. You can see that on that 10 amp fuse you have brakes, lights, turn signals, winch, speed limit fuse, parking drive alarm. Any one of these could have a short to ground caused by either a bad device or a nick in a wire during assembly. I would start using an ohm meter on the fuse to ground with power off and then do some wiggling of wires until you get a low ohm short.

Riding out today it acted like it ran out of gas,  stalled and died and would not start.   Towed back to house,  New  plug added this past month,  plenty of oil, getting plenty of gas, battery cranks good.   Trys to kick in and starts but doesnt.   Two days prior while sitting at a idle it died.  Added gas and it started did my ranch chores with it.  But just now it stalled out cranks but will not start.   Tried to find if fault codes came up on the clock like manual says but not sure I am doing that right.  Any and all help apprecated.  Thank you

I just bought a new 2024 Hison 550 Stryker 2 months ago. this is the second time I have had this issue.  It only has about 20 hours on it. The last time it happened we took it back to the dealer. it was a fuse.  Since we live three-hour time driving there and back. I would like to find another solution if possible.  I have tried all the fuses that seem to have anything to do with starting.  Currently checking the battery. The battery is new. it came with the unit. It is probably 6 months old.  the UTV has all power to everything electrical. lights turn signals and radio all work.  When trying the key to start . it is 100% dead. as in it doesn't even click.  There is a low whirring like the fuel pump is turning on though. The Unit was running and driving just fine.  we shut it down for the night. The next morning my wife found it in this condition.  Thanks for any Ideas or solutions???   Otherwise, it goes back to the dealer tomorrow. Just hope I didn't buy a lemon. Great little UTV when it does run.😅  anyone else ever have this Issue..?

Just bought a brand new 760 about a month ago. I'm at 20 hours which the book says is when you need to change the break in oil.

I must be crazy, but I can't find the oil filter. I've googled a million videos...everything seems to be 2019 or lower...and/or a 550.  They all show the filter easily seen by looking in past the rear passenger tire on the engine. There is absolutely nothing there on mine.

1.there seems to be very little info if you Google a 760, or anything Massimo newer than like 2019.

      2. Does anyone have a current model year 760 that can answer my riddle for me?

      Hi All,
New here, but bought a 2022 Sector 750 brand new last march (old stock up here in Canada)
It's a good bike so far, but I have noticed a quirk and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue?

The issue I've had is if I leave the utv parked on any incline, not even a major incline, and leave it to sit for a while (day or two) it will not start properly. It will turn over and not fire until I press the gas pedal, when it will run and rev up, but if I let off the gas it will die. It will keep doing this until I either start it in gear and drive it for a bit or leave it in neutral and roll it down the hill to flatter ground. where it will have to sit for a while.
If I park it on a decline there is no issue. fuel is not low, it's occurred a couple times now.

Any thoughts on the cause of this? Dealership just says bring it in and let them take a look, at my expense of course.
