Might get better responses in the hisun forum.

Presumably this is an EFI model. If so they need all the wiring. Replacement harnesses are available for a responsible cost ($150ish) for most hisun models. If it's EFI it needs all that stuff to function without throwing codes and going into limp mode. There's a good description on the various hisun repair manuals (download section) towards the back explaining how the Delphi EFI system ties all the inputs and outputs together and what each piece does.

If you figure your time min removing the harness and then running new wires to everything, which you need, everything you can but 2 harnesses for the price of making one

That is how I look at a lot of THINGS I could make. Figure in material, and my time building it vs. just buying and installing or having it installed.

Now if I'm doing it for enjoyment/relaxation/satisfaction of working on stuff that is different.

But I usually only have the weekends to piddle on stuff. No evenings.

Riding out today it acted like it ran out of gas,  stalled and died and would not start.   Towed back to house,  New  plug added this past month,  plenty of oil, getting plenty of gas, battery cranks good.   Trys to kick in and starts but doesnt.   Two days prior while sitting at a idle it died.  Added gas and it started did my ranch chores with it.  But just now it stalled out cranks but will not start.   Tried to find if fault codes came up on the clock like manual says but not sure I am doing that right.  Any and all help apprecated.  Thank you

I have purchased a used Supermach700 (2008), It runs great after a new choke cable but. The temp sensor on the thermostat house is unhooked and can not find where it plugs back in. The fan has been un hooked from the sensor in the rad and cant figure out how it goes back together properly.  The fan was wired to a by pass switch and i just always leave it on but would like to work it properly. I assume the sensor went bad and not changed.

      any help would be great.

      thanks
