Hisun HS500utv (2010) Oil Leak

Good afternoon.

I have a 2010 hisun HS500utv. The vehicle had an oil leak in the rear drive shaft in the connection to the engine.

After disassembly the problem was not the retainer but a small star-shaped seal that was tightned with a nut between the washer and the flange.

I don't know if the seal is part of the washer (if it's glued) because I can't find the reference for this seal in any catalogue.

If anyone can help me I'll be forever grateful.

If i could not find the part number or part on a diagram.

 

I'd get a caliper, get a thickness of remaining washer, diameter of shaft that goes thru it, max outside diameter.

And look for a generic round seal from avxseals.com and look for a seal with those measurements.

 

I have nothing to do with website. But i have ordered from them. Better seals than my oem cfmoto seals. And fast arrival time.

 

Or some thick rubber gasket material and make one.

 

Or maybe look for a different model or year parts diagram to see if something could match up.

Ended up using an hydraulic bonded seal, and for now it seems to be working.
