So my trooper has been sitting basically since December I always run high test gas and its run here and there at idle from time to time last time it ran seemed ok today while idling it seemed little choppy and giving it gas seemed to be breaking up a little kinda like a misfire I have about 1400 miles on it I plan on dumping the gas and will inspect the plugs I have ngk iridium plugs in it been there since 1200 miles know also have a fuel programmer on stage 1 factory never have changed it thoughts anyone????

  5. that happened to me once had a bad ground at the starter and also the ring shank were the wire crimps in to bolt to stater had gotten weak

  8. Fixed the wire I was a dummy when I put in the new starter I didn't hook one of the wires back up. But on another not does any one have to give there trooper little gas when first starting after its started np been sitting since December I'm gonna drain gas put some fresh stuff in
  9. My tie rods always get loose and check the u joints in the steering shaft I had one almost break. Silverbullet do u guys have greasable balljoints
  10. I don't know of anyway to read the computer I know no limits Powersports had something and silver bullet motor sports did maybe McCoy motor sports too or a wide band AF??

  12. hey any of you guys ever get a break in your power wire to the battery switch??? What I got is I put a new starter in and went to fire it off and had nothing. So I checked the fuses all dead no fans kicking on no power to my lights nothing. So i check the battery switch no power at earthier side so I put a jumper wire from one side of the battery switch to the battery and turned the battery switch on and everything was normal and rechecked fuses everything normal just wondered if any one seen this
  13. so the balljoint caps screw on I was gonna order 4 new ones from JMC I cant remeber if I drilled the last ones for grease fitting if I got them that way but you can see little weld marks on the top of them and one of them Im pretty sure I bought them that way??
  14. Yes the play is were the balljoints sits in the a arm and the balljoints I have now a greasable idk wear I got them or if I just drilled holes and put zerk fitting in. I talked to a welding shop about havn them tack welded in
  15. not that many I think Im at 1400 miles give or take. I talked to Casey JMC he has them but I guess this is a common issue went to an offroad shop and they suggested tack welding the balljoints in but I wanted to see if this is happenening to anyone else
  16. hey guys doing maintenance the trooper need ball-joints but thats besides the point my left front upper and my right front lower suspensions arms were the ball joints sit have a lot of play any one run into this or have a fix for it
  17. im not sure if that would be an ECU issue how are your grounds???
  18. pull your fuse box off the wall behind the driver seat check for burnt wires also test and see if you have power at the starter and that the stater gets signal when you attempt to start it could have burn out the solenoid I am putting a new stater in mine
  19. Well u would do the basic check the fuse boxes both look at the one behind drivers seat make sure u have no burnt wires or connections in back of fuse panel check the wires by the battery for melted or damaged connections. Did this just happen

  21. hey guys has anyone replaced there front wheel hubs or brake hat if that what you wanna call it. Im talking about the splined part the axle rides in and the wheel studs press into. Im trying to get rid of the play in the front of my trooper. My axles are not damaged looking for opinions
  22. Hey guys well I finally got to work on my trooper starter is no good won't start fuses are good checked and replaced some bad wired and even swapped solenoids only had this starter for a year. So does anyone have a GOOD one or have a part number for an aftermarket one??? Also does anyone have a front wheel hub?? What I mean is the splined part that the wheel studs go threw and axle I feel like mine has some play in it Thanx charlie
  23. i have been looking at seats on Summit racing there 169 each and the recline as well it appears they are the same material covering as our stock seats and if i remember they are lighter too. But gotta make sure the trooper is ready for the season first need to tighten the front end up
