  1. I had my top made by my ex mother inlaw other wise Id give you her info but the divorce didn't go smooth lol. My diffs have held up great i run synthetic fluids in them. Hands down one the best upgrades I did was the 30" tires gearing is way better now first gear you can use and top end is nice to I do a lot low speed riding and its great I dont beat the hell out of my T2 in fact I could probably drive it harder but I got the biggest badest toy in my group so I am Happy
  2. I was gonna lower my cage but I had a soft top and doors made for it thats why I am taking the factory light bar off
  3. Ya I figured the stock battery was a lot lighter lol guess ill just put the optima in my fj cruiser haha. Ya I had my rear diff rebuilt by Lenny back a while ago and the front. was driving along heard a clunk then nothing but so far so good. Lenny ran his t2 harder than anyone with lot more power and after rebuild he had no issues so that's what I am hopping for I love the way the bed looks off it I always carried to much stuff mostly my buddies shit so this will solve that. I had been wanting to change it for a long time took some weight off by doing it. This weekend I am taking the stock light bar off that will take almost 8" height off the top of the t2 and I'm putting a 24" LED light bar under wear the stock bar is. Another thing I like without the bed is now the main cage and back are tied in more strength
  4. Hey anyone know what our stock batteries weigh?? I was just given a redtop optima 800 cca battery but it wieghs 38lbs any opinions??
  5. Not running air lines my shocks are nitrogen charged backed up with internal springs and valving and oil check out my gallery ask any questions

  10. Looks good I took the flip part off mine yesterday added bars to connect front cage to rear of the t2 and changed the spare tire carrier so it's kinda like the rzr if I new how to post pics I could show
  11. no shocks stand alone each corner front is a 2.0 fox air shock 8" travel pressure is 360 and i have 13 and 3/4 inches under front diff before i get in it. Rear is 2.5 Radflo (racerunner) air shock its the 10 0r 12" travel I have limit straps all four corners rear pressure is 350 ish psi. I do lot low speeds and climbing over things and it works well for me
  12. one air shock per corner but you need 2.5 for the rear weather its fox race runner or any others 2.0 in the rear wont hold no matter how much pressure
  13. ok so excuse me for sounding dumb on this but I have read on here before about toe adjustment and how you can make the trooper turn better. I understand how and alignment works being an auto tech. So basically you wanna turn the wheel right or left and adjust at the steering box first to get the max left and right with out binding correct?? Then center your steering wheel and adjust with the toe bar on the suspension so when your steering wheel is striaght your wheels are not toed out????
  14. 2 scoops not offended we all have different styles driving and ideas and what works for one may not be right or wrong for another. This is a pretty awsome group here. I have top line fox 2.0 8" travel in the front and in the rear I have Race runner(sway away) 2.5 12" travel and it flexs good. Here in MA tighter trails lots obstacles
  15. yes 2scoops we spoke and i get whaty you are saying and if I had more money at the time I may have done things different but I did the best I could for how I ride
  16. well you guys all know I run air shocks and it took a while to set up but overall i am very happy specialy with climbing over stuff but I spent the money and got the good ones, High speed cornning yes there is body roll and I never jump it so no worries there

  19. welcome I have an 09 trooper as well running 30' zillas no rub except bottom of my extended fenders at full flex. Oil I think I am running 10-30 Castro synthetic and gear oil I run whats in the manual I think its 750-140 synthetic as well. As far as the shocks go I am not sure I run a full air shock for flexing its the stock ones it wont be much try Kinarfis post or message him he played with the shocks a lot. I live in ma and a lot people here think its Chinese junk too till I have to pull someone home or climb that hill rock or mud hole no one can. Theres a lot of good info here some little overwhelming but helpfull

  21. Has anyone lowered the stock cage on our troopers. I am 5'11" and I was thinking i could drop it 3-4" and still be safe then I was gonna take the flip up part off over the engine and put that plastic board over the engine and tie the rear of the buggy into the front any ideas I do enough maintenece on this I wanna do something fun when it starts to warm up my buddys garage is COLD
  22. has anyone lowered the stock rollcage on the T2 I am 5'10" was thinking lowering it 3-4" and then taking the flip up part off the back mounting the plastic board to the chassis and then welding two tubes from the drivers cage to the back of the T2
