  1. Sorry I did not get a chance to get out this weekend. The wind was blowing 40-45 Sat. and 56 on Sun. I hope to get out this week its not going to be so windy. I may be crazy but I am not stupid it was just not going to be safe. But I should be able to get the video this week or at least this weekend.
  2. Thanks Mike but I don't like your math. I would rather be 41 much better place in life and we have the Trooper to much fun.
  3. Don't know if I could talk my wife into it. All our kids and family live up here. Also cost of living would be much more I think but won't stop me from dreaming.
  4. If I clear the approach completely and land on the flat bottom of the ditch it bottoms out but its not violent like it can be in my other buggy. If I land on the down slope of the other side it is sooo nice. It just feels like landing on a feather. The difference is about 3-4' more drop to the bottom of the ditch.
  5. Man that sounds like fun I wish I lived down there. Just might have to move there instead of South Dakota.
  6. I feel the problem is more the height off the floor but that it a very good idea I will try it just might be the ticket and would save some money and work.
  7. Would a cheap set of gas shocks help? My other thought was a set of Rancho 5000 I have laying around.
  8. The next question would be the fuel tank under the passenger seat what the heck would I do with that?
  9. Sorry I know this is a UTV site but I hope no one minds. On my buggy I keep bottoming out and was hopping some one would have a suggestion on what I could do. Would it help to just add a shock? The ones on it are coil overs and as far as I can tell they are not adjustable.
  10. Is there a seat that anyone knows of for the Trooper that reclines. I also think I will be looking into lowering the seat a little I have bad knees and they get really sore after about an hour. I just cant seam to stop and get out its just to fun. In my other buggy the seats are closer to the floor and recline and I don't seam to get as sore as fast.
  11. Thats a very nice looking ride. Are those speakers on the rear bar?
  12. From what I have gathered from reading all the posts and looking at the pics of the Troopers I have already has the fuel pump next to the tank and the latches for the rear rack are behind the seats. Does any one have any idea what kind of mileage they get I Have never bothered to figure it out but I think its good.
  13. I don't remember what my figures are from post to post so I am sorry If I miss led you the facts are still the same. I will hit the approach and clear it lets see you and your RZR do the same. Sounds like a challenge to me!
  14. Yes we do have dunes in ND but that's not what I am jumping. I am not jumping on soft sand I am jumping approaches in the ditch and landing on the other side of the approach on hard dirt not soft sand. I may be only 1-3' above the approach but its 4-5' down to the ground where I land. And if you add the numbers to total is the amount of drop from the peak of the jump.
  15. Bill do you have a web site? Todd
  16. Hello Bill rocmoc has spoken highly of you. I was wondering if I could get info on the long travel kit? Thanks Todd
  17. Jimmy the only up grades I have done are move the rad, SuperTrapp and I blew a tire. I hit a rock at about 35-40 so I have 2 Bighorns on the way. I will get a new battery for the camcorder and show you how I drive it. I scare the hell out of everyone that rides with me. I have never babied anything I have ever owned. I am sorry you had a bad experience with yours but this thing has taken more abuse then I thought it would. I really wish I lived closer to you so I could show you in person it is not being babied. The last dirt bike I owned was a YZ465 I broke the frame twice from jumping. That seems to be what i like to do the most. I am not kidding when i say I hit the approaches at 40-45 and fly 20-25' with about 6-8' of air so I expect to be replacing the shocks some day. But I am not exaggerating or lying to many people are relying on the info they get from us Trooper owners. I have had more problems with my BMS 1100 Dune Buggy.
