Thanks! The battery works great! I wish I would have used these kinds of batteries when I was racing. The silicone is Loctight Gas and Oil resistant adhesive.

Sorry that I havent been around much. Been really busy with work and other projects. I'll start out with what happened in November. On the gas tank, there is a pick-up for the fuel delivery and the return, and the nipple that the delivery hooks too busted because of the cold (I think). Been searching for months to find a replacement or one that would work with it. Finlay decided to fix it with some parts from my local Napa. I got 5/16" fuel line connectors and drilled out and put that in a put some silicon around it. Better than new! Then, my battery crapped out on me, went every were that sells battery's within 20 mile radius and couldnt find anything! Then I found a big riding lawn mower battery for $36 at Checker Auto (Oriley, etc.) figured if it wouldn't work I could use it on my mower. it fits perfect and starts and turns over the Ruesch great! Im going to get another one to put under the seat to run the lights and radio. Then do a battery isolator . So for the Ruesch owners out there whos dealers are gone(like mine) or are flakes and cant find some OEM parts, here ya go.

Thanks for the reply. I thought about that, but I figured that I would be in at least another $3000 to make it like the Ruesch (long travel kit, wheels, tires, etc.) I'll keep an eye out for a engine and see how much they are going for.

Well, I had a idea of swapping a 700cc FI Rhino engine into my Ruesch. I like the idea of FI and the added power from the 700 (the Ruesch is 500) So here are the questions, how easy do yall' think it would be (motor mounts, ect.) to swap it? And second were would I get a complete Rhino engine and wiring harness?

I dont have a enclosed cab, but I do have one of those Coleman mini propane cylinder heaters that are used in golf carts and it works great on a UTV.

Will a voltmeter connected strait to the battery drain the battery? If so, how would I wire it so that it only turns on when the key is on; with a wire tap?

I found a "universal" sensor from Summit Racing. Will it work if I drill a hole in the tank, mount the sender in it, and run the wires up to a gauge in the dash? Here's the link for the sensor: http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-3262/

I LOVE mine! Haven't had any problems with it (except the dealer). I took it on the elk hunt and had no problems then around the 30th of October its going on the deer hunt. The only thing that was a problem was tuning the carb for the area's I ride in; but the new Panther is Fuel Injected. Let us know what you do.

I do keep both in the under seat storage. Different sized zip ties. Also radiator stop leak, and quick steel

What do you all use for a toolkit and whats inside? I got a cheap yellow and black box at Harbor Freight (the best store ever) to match my Ruesch. 8-17mm sockets (1/4'' and 3/8'') 3/8'' drive ratchet 1/4'' drive rachet vice grips channel locks screwdrivers hex bit sockets duct tape loctight gasket maker hammer fuses penetrating fluid cordless impact ect..

I almost got the my Ruesch done! I put in the following: Dual AM FM Cassette W/AUX input 2 VR3 6 1/2 '' 3 wat speakers 2 Metra baffles (cheap weather proofing) Sunpro Gauge pack. Water Temp/Oil PSI/Volt (need help with oil psi and water temp) 2 Baja Lights Custom Shifter knob 3000 lbs winch Currently Doing: Underseat storage windsheild Rhino liner bed grip taping Will upload finished pics tomorrow.

It has a plastic tank. The only gauges there is is a (1) speedometer (2) tach (that dont work) (3) water temp. Thanks for the response!
