  1. if you are getting that much heat from engine into passenger area, your engine may be running excessively hot.. Once I corrected my overheating problems, the passenger area is not so hot
  2. my 500 came with a remote w/10ft cable .. no winch control on dash. winch works well but it will drag UTV to the object if its heavy instead .. Plugs in in front of shifter on lower dash panel with hanger for remote next to it
  3. When I was fighting with mine, I checked with a national UTV Engine builder.. He said 99% sure Yamaha Rhino engine would bolt right up in mine.. he even said he would ship it free to me, refund it if not fit . just pay return freight ..
  4. looking forward to seeing it
  5. I know, Massimo said same thing..HISUN is junk, no warrenty, and they switched to Linhai motors .. currently mine is running well but it has Rhino parts mixed in now... Let us know how the Yamaha swap goes. Thats my plan when this HISUN croaks again
  6. you have air trapped in the head. try bleeding out air at head and at waterpump ....or .you have a bad head gasket .. Hisuns are not for riding, they are for working on
  7. 365 here too not 24hrs tho, on private land but my place at Whiskey Bay borders Sherburne Management /Federal Refuge on one side so I have to follow the rules and hunt during legal seasons there . .. But sometimes when not in season, the hogs venture across the gravel road onto my land . maybe its the sacks of corn in my yard ? lol.... and When they do, ITS BAR B QUE time .. we can take as many as we want. we cook the smaller ones whole over a hardwood fire .. yum yum .... I saw 6 together in a group this week, 2 small ones about 40-50 lbs , 2 about 100-120 lbs and the mama about 250lbs .. These are healthy hogs too.. Have seen them shot as big as 400 lbs in there .. Thats a bitch to carry
  8. haha .. just one REAL one...haha
  9. sorry, was 😜 not my pig... lol next time ..BTW, my dog and I ran up on 6 hogs together Monday 300 yards from my camp at Whiskey Bay in the Massimo. .. Season not open on Management til Oct 2nd ... I LL BE BACK!
  10. lol lid locked..lol good one
  11. wow ..you had a toothbrush? rich people, eh?
  12. One pig.. one BAR B QUE.. invite the family .... we just did a 100lb wild hog , whole on an open rotisserie .. cooked 6 hours ... mmm mmm good
  13. soap? whats that? lol
  14. Its the CRAWFISH that keeps us going..lol I guess its like up north with the blizzards.. You get use to it eventually , but its not for the weak
  15. haha thats a slow week...
  16. If it gets any wetter we wil start to mildew
  17. Tractor Supply is a joke for Service... Are you trying to shift while moving? Low to High? you cant .. You must be dead stop to change gears
  18. yeah its a whole unit for charging , .. requires 240V from your electric meter . You dont just plug in an ordinary extension cord .. Chevy is recalling all their BOLT models due to fires starting in batteries while charging .. This crap is just not ready.. Just like wind and solar. We saw in Texas what happens to Turbines and Solar Farms when IT GETS COLD! People died .. We are decades away from getting off fossil fuels. Liberals and govt need to accept that .. and NO! the world is not ending in 10 years as that pea brain AOC says .... But I digress... Managed to get 30 gallons of gas at 4AM today.. no line
  19. few hundred miles IF you dont need to run A/C or heat.. then its cut in half. and what if theres no where to plug in when you get there ? bring 10 miles of extension cord? and why do people think its cost free ? the 240V electricity for up to 8 hours for recharge aint free. Batteries last maybe 4-5 yrs.. cost $10K for new ones!, And then theres the autonomous driving ones that get confused by any flashing light and crash into Fire Trucks, Ambulances, Road Construction signs .. I would never trust my life to a car computer to drive me 70 mph. This tech is NOT READY FOR PRIME TIME
  20. Could it be a faulty temp sensor for fuel injection making ECU think they engine is cold all the time and enriching fuel mix?
  21. yeah right... well its damn hot here, its ALWAYS damn hot here.. We only have 2 seasons.. We have SUMMER and then we have JANUARY ...and then SUMMER again ... Right now we have NO GASOLINE .. cant find any anywhere .. I had 25 gallons for my generator but had to use it in my truck. I just wonder what all those ELECTRIC CAR owners are doing since there been no electricity for 9 days .. Push them maybe?
  22. well damn... now a frickin starter went on a 5 year old Honda RECON ... must be the heat... Honda wanted $385 .. thats insane.. its 4 inches long .... Got one on Amazon.. $39 .. spins the crap out of it. ...I think I might try to find brushes for the OEM , rebuild it and save for another day..
  23. yep, the second time we used a Yamaha gasket with a new head.. and waterpump . the OEM head cracked from the extreme heat it was running.. Fan would engage at 245* .......and the sensor was on the return side of Radiator..so imagine how hot the hot side was. AND THAT WAS WITH NO THERMOSTAT!! STOP THAT HEAT, your engine lives
  24. Its most likely a blown head gasket.. very common on Massimo s .. mine did it twice!. You can find some parts online but it takes awhile to get . As for SERVICE...thats a problem.. Most ATV/UTV shops wont touch them.
  25. yeah.. Been there done that. a couple times . Its weird ..it all stops for half hour then reverses wind direction.. I ve been thru a lot of these growing up here.. It much safer if you dont live near Bayous, creeks, rivers or coastline. Its unbelievable to see water rise 10-15 feet in just minutes . I have friends that live in Belle Chase..only 300 yards from Mississippi River Levee, Been rescued by helicopter OFF THIER ROOF three times now.. I keep asking...WHY DONT YOU LEAVE? But they refuse
