    No , its not.. I stopped buying deep cycle batteries years ago.. they simply do not hold up in my 4 boats.. I need START batteries not trolling batteries .. I m gonna hook one up in my MSU .. I think it should work .. I wont use a big 1050 CCA like my 2- 225 Optimax 's use .. just a little 500CCA like my small YAMAHA 60 uses ..

    I can put it under the seat, run big cables about 4 ft. The UTV battery is 340CCA .. I have a 500CCA DURALAST in my smallest boat.. I think I ll get one like it and try it.. Sick of these little battery failures.. this one makes THREE in a month on 4 machines

    Question...has anyone tried using a small Automotive battery instead of these cheap powersport batteries that last about a year? Can the UTV charging system keep up with a larger AMP battery? I am tired of buying new powersport ones that last JUST past the 1 year warrenty.. Theres plenty room for it. and the bigger battery costs about the same $$ with a 3 yr warrenty

    I dont know why but I have had 2 solenoids and 2 batteries fail in the last two weeks on three different ATVs .. must be the heat...or the moon ... Thanks to Amazon, I am up and running quickly on al 3

    My Massimo must be in Neutral or foot on the brake to engage starter..

    not really sure if its applicable here but I have found that 99% of my MSU 500 parts that fail..[ and there has been many] are interchangeable with genuine YAMAHA RHINO parts.. and the quality is leaps and bounds better ...

    sometimes you get lucky.. haha ... my MSU has a Tach. It idles at1600 if its accurate.. Would surprise me if it is

    I use ratchet straps on mine... leave in gear with park brake on.. place heaviest weight to front of trailer. Too much weight on rear of trailer will make it duck-walk at 60 mph .. very unsafe And if you have a top on yours, make sure it is well secured.. Some will fly off at 60-70 mph

    good luck.. hope it cures it... on a side note, my MSU/Yamaha hybrid still running fine.. Shocks the hell outta me but I aint complaining.. finally getting my money's worth out of it ... maybe one day I can say its 20 yrs old and still going... lol wishful thinking ,you say? lol

    boy, its hard to beat a Honda ... just my opinion

    It surprised us , first that it failed in only 3 years. and Because I have 10 yr old Hondas still working perfectly. But that it just fell apart was shocking.. I would have expected that from Massimo but never Honda.. oh well, nobody s perfect I guess.. I still love my 3 Honda ATV s.. Great machines . We put the new one on and works fine.. He got it online .

    As far as we know.. He bought it new 3-4 yrs ago. I have always praised HONDA for durability and quality.. But that shocked me when it fell apart in my hand ... maybe it was a bad batch of bonding adhesive? 🤯
