  1. In my opinion yes..QUALITY..I have a Massimo and I have a CF MOTO c force..there is no comparison . The CF is 5 times the quality
  2. Good hunting
  3. Mine is CVT trans too but still has a wet clutch. The CVT is belt drive between 2 sheave pullies that move in a nd out to change drive ratio to axles
  4. I have dome that before too..but I was afraid the cheap filter would just tear if I did that. Then what? I just don't get why it was so tight. An 18 inch breaker and a 2ft pipe ? Dam that's tight.and I put it on myself, I oiled the seal first and put it on by hand, no wrench so wtf? Oh well ,it's done..
  5. You guys see the Polaris recall of 22 to 25 utvs? Missing bolts in frame and roll bars..oops...probably not good if you jump or roll I would think...but that's just me...🤔
  6. BTW. You didn't do that 1 1/2 extra qrs of oil thing did you? That could be the cause
  7. If they will answer the phone..lol
  8. You can tear top end off in frame but before you do all that, do a compression rest and leak down test to see if it's rings or piston damage or valve issues..what oil are you using? Too low viscosity will. Let oil get by. Crankcase pressure will too.. what does you oil look like? Black...milky? Clear? Unless you just want to refresh it. Find out why it's burning oil before you start wrenching.
  9. There's a big reason they want them gone..And that warranty ain't worth the paper it's written on.
  10. Just changed my oil in my MSU 500..boy it was dirty..it's dusty ,very dusty here when it doesn't rain. Used Actevo 10w40 JASO M2 wet clutch oil..manual says 2 qts but it took 2 1/2 qts to get it where I feel comfortable..Some shops recommend 3 qts or more but I just can't see it..crank spinning in oil can't be. Good
  11. Decided to do an oil change on the Massimo ...drained oil, screen was very clean even tho oil wasn't. Then went to remove old filter.. holy crap ..I tried every tool I have, could not budge it..Went to store and got one of the end cap type..fit nice and tight, put a 1/2 in drive ratchet on it..nope..not moving. Put a 18 on breaker bar o. It. The inside of the removal tool broke off!! Had to weld it back together. Put a pipe on the bar for more leverage. Finally broke it loose.. I have never seen a filter in my 55 yrs of working on engines so tight..And i was the one who put it on 2 yrs ago. JUST HAND TIGHT!
  12. I suggested Honda. But CF MOTO also makes quality stuff..I have a C FORCE ATV .Great machine ..Don't buy anything HISUN OR MASSIMO or anything at Lowes, Home Depot or Tractor supply.. you will regret it..
  13. It's a bblast..trust me. 😁
  14. Sorry guys. She loves this car..I think she would give up me before it..It is incredible. Z51 Perf pkg Magnetic Air ride 4 suspension modes from tour to track...mid engine ..dual tone exhaust modes..front auto lift for obstacles.6 cameras, 14 speaker BOSE sounds. 15. I use CASTROL ACTEVO .Wet clutch approved 10w40. Have used it for years in all my ATVS ..Never fried a clutch yet. Buy it by the big jug at Wallyworld. I did see a guy put STP in his Honda once..clutch began slipping in hours .
  16. Yep...blew the kids inheritance !! Fug it...you only live once...and. boy is that car living!! 0 to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds! Woo hoo!😝
  17. Ii agree..that's some great help he provided.
  18. Well,honestly ,I can't say squat...I just bought a $109,000.00 STINGRAY
  19. Like the rest of us Massimo owners, get used to disappointment. Sorry
  20. Hope you have plenty cash..what you describe will be very expensive for a weekend toy
  21. Even Kubota has its problem units..I know a guy who's unhappy with his Maserati..😯
  22. You , my friend, are one of the lucky few ..Most of us Massimo/Hisun owners have suffered the chronic issues with no support from Massimo whatsoever..Mine is now. Reliable ....but it took some effort and $$$$..
  23. We eliminated the thermostat and according to Hisun back when we were pulling our hair out with overheating, their rep told us they stopped using thermostats and relied on electric fan to control warm up. 5 years now mine has none. At all.....it works here..but we don't have snow and below zero temps to deal with. Takes a little longer to warm up but has never overheated again.
  24. I sure wish you had been around back when I was fighting with mine .I was at the mercy of the only mechanic in my state that would work on these..He was good but slow as paint drying. I learned a lot from him and have managed to keep mine going since. Glad to see you taking the time to help this guy.. We need more members like you.. Thanks from all of us dumbazzes that bought Massimo/ Hisun
