  1. I have another old friend who is an engine rebuilder by trade.. he says he changes just the filter at 5K, 7K, 10 K and 13K and then changes oil at 15K. because oil does not wear out , just gets dirty
  2. I did put larger cables and a car battery on my mower.. still has to grunt 2-3 times before it spins fast enough to start..
  3. I have a Zero Turn 60 in mower that has done that for years.. I have replaced starter, battery, cables, switches , every part in the starting system and it still does it!.. crazy huh?
  4. I completely disagree.. You change oil BECAUSE it gets dirty and can no longer hold deposits in suspension.. Oil does not wear out in 3000 miles . heres a thought from a real expert..........." Does oil wrar out? ..........oil goes "bad" from two things: The long chains get broken down due to wear. But ask any tribologist with an ounce of morals, and they will tell you that modern engine oil is sufficient to last MANY thousands of miles, perhaps 10-20K or more . (I get that you speak hours - I'm too lazy to translate that to knots.) And that's good old dinosaur juice. Modern synthetic compounds have wonderful properties, and might last twice as long as the organic stuff. In fact, with the exception of point #2, the right synthetic might last 50,000 -60,000 miles. (x 0.868976 knots) and you say...BUT BUT BUT.... Oil gets dirty. Little particles of soot and combustion products and small insects and detris and debris and schmutz and water accumulate in your oil storage "area". A really good oil filter [e.g. Oberg] might filter down to 5 micron or less, but require frequent cleanings. Hence you only see this type of filter in racing and special applications. 2A. So what? heres what! Some of that dirt is abrasive. None of it is helpful. It is circulated under pressure. Now imagine that your very expensive synthetic oil is circulating little tiny abrasive bits all around those critical lubricated interface points. Doesn't matter how much the "excipient" [big word] costs, what you have now created is a very expensive cutting fluid -. no matter how expensive. The size of the little cutter buggers is only limited by your oil filter. And your standard oil filter is a balance between longevity and particle size. So So So? Oil gets dirty. (Did I yell that yet?) YES AND OIL GETS DIRTY AT THE SAME RATE .. got it? WHETHER IT'S USED "Wolfshead" OIL FILTERED THROUGH WONDERBREAD, OR ULTRA-SYNTHETIC Magic elixure DERIVED FROM SIBERIAN ANT GLANDS AND COSTS $5000/ounce... It gets dirty long before it ever could wear out! "" I happen to agree with that 100%
  5. yep. trust the science as libs say.......Its GRAVITY! cant deny it Hows yours running? my mix breed Massimo still going strong.
  6. not a fan of the quicky lube syphon method.. its fast and easy and saves time for Quick Oil Change shops but I seriously doubt it removes all the sludge in the bottom of the pan completely. or the metallic debris on mag plugs . The drain is the lowest point and everything will come out if engine is hot and you can clean the plug for fresh use. . Trans shops now use similar methods of quickie replacing fluid by machine with fresh fluid.. But you still have your old dirty filter inside trans and whatever sludge and debris are in the bottom of the pan. .
  7. good job... looks like you didnt need help after all
  8. if pump runs with direct 12v and if you have no power at plug, its either a fuse or bad wire.. fuse box is on wall under hood
  9. that is true.. We have a Jeep with the 4.0L six .. it leaked from every gasket.. BUT, not until 180,000 miles.. after I replaced pan, rear seal ,timing and valve covers, no more leaks.. Whereas HISUN leak on the boat from China . AND If a car leaks on day one, the Dealer will fix it.. Hisun will never fix anything. Their warranty is written on toilet paper so you can at least use it to wipe your butt
  10. ahhh another satisfied HISUN customer... That will be the least of your troubles my friend.. HISUN is a snowball of catastrophic events
  11. ADDRESS Massimo Motors 3101 W Miller Road Garland, TX 75041 PHONE 877-881-6376 They are still in Texas ,, but good luck getting any help from those a$$holes.. Worst company on Earth.. their reviews are 1 star on every site you look at only because you cant give them a 0 stars ... BBB has hundreds of complaints Home Depot dumped them.... Take it apart and use Black Ultra sealant for gasket .. very oil resistant .. works every time
  12. funny, you lie just like Joe Bribem ...Do you fall down alot too? show me where I "schilled"...you cant, you lied ...nuff said
  13. I dont need any, mine came with the poly type included.. But, I do remove it for 9 months of the year.. its too hot here . need air flow when its 110 degrees . Yours looks great, enjoy it.. I hate to see one that nice covered in mud tho!! After a day on the trails here , you cant tell what color mine is. lol Hope you have years of trouble free use and lots of fun
  14. Sorry I missed your post.. I see you still arent smart enough to tell what sarcasm is.. and did you ever see me endorse.." SCHILL for ", a specific brand ? oh yeah, thats right you didnt.. but since you have no actual comeback with valid info, you do what democrats do and make something up, accusing others of doing what you do.. pathetic
  15. Dont know about that.. My MSU 500 has a Chinese Yamaha RHINO engine clone . built by HISUN [ pitiful excuse for engine} much of it is replaceable with Rhino parts. You can even swap out the whole engine with a RHINO engine..
  16. Good Luck, hope that ends it for you. biggest problem with these machines is overheating .. plagued mine for months.. after modifications, working fine now
  17. well, after my Massimo nightmare, I was skeptical. But I talked to the chief mechanic at their biggest dealer about CF MOTO before buying one of of their ATVs. .. He owns one and stands behind them and more importantly, the Factory stands behind the warrenty.. by the way, its 2 years warranty not one year like everybody else.. I ve had mine since October, not a single issue , starts instantly, hot or cold, and the first Service was included free. I will say it uses a little more gas than my Hondas but its also bigger and WAAAAYYY faster . Just my opinion of my own experience with the brand.. and no, I dont get commission..lol
  18. dont know about 700 but my mechanic used a Yamaha gasket on my 17 MSU 500.. The HISUN engine is a 95% clone of Yamaha RHINO engine ..
  19. Dont know about their CF Moto SXS, but my CF Moto ATV is outstanding.. C-Force 600 4X4 automatic, w/power steering and Engine braking system.. unstoppable
  20. good luck. Stay away from Massimo , take it from me.. Worst company in the business.
  21. according to our local dealer, Kawasaki is using KYMCO engines not HISUN on smaller machines.. I understand your frustration with cold starts and poorly functioning chokes on carb models, but it does not have to be that way.. I have 2 Hondas with carbs and no issues with cold start chokes in years
  22. Welcome to the wonderful world of disappointed HISUN engine owners.. We feel your pain.. ........so they told you, you cant use your OFF ROAD FOUR WHEEL DRIVE UTV in muddy conditions eh? Should only drive on paved streets?
