    Owners manual says 1.89 quarts with new filter, Service manual say 2.22 quarts with new filter. It’s a dilemma... not enough oil, May damage clutch and motor, too much oil could cause problems as well. mscraigchr: did your drain plug have a spring and metal screen inside (under the drain plug bolt? thanks

    I think I see a fuel canister mounted on the frame rail. Maybe the T-Boss and Outfitter aren’t the same machine?

    Thank you so much. I think this is the same machine as the Coleman Outfitter 550. Does yours have an inline fuel filter? Some of the Outfitters don’t, and there’s not a easy access place to cut the fuel line and add one. When did they switch to Linhai engines?

    On the Coleman 550 outfitter, similar or same thing. Easy fix. Hold gear shift lever in low position until you start moving, then it’s fine. Annoying, and shouldn’t be like that, but they are what they are. Make sure you are using correct oil, I’m assuming 400 also has a wet clutch. I could be wrong

    I was deeply disappointed in the prices for exhaust parts. Rural King is selling a similar 550, maybe they can help?

    Please let me know where the fuel filter is. I have the Coleman 550 Outfitter version of the Hisun. Manuals say filter must be changed. No location specified in the manual. I traced the fuel line from tank to injector, can’t find it. I called Coleman, they told me some never got them. Guess, I need to cut line and put a universal riding lawn mower filter in the line? Thanks

    Fortunately so is mine. I don’t run it hard, or in deep mud, but I do use it. So far I’m happy.

    Did you watch the video I attached? It’s a white connector with a white protective cap. Maybe yours Is different than the one in the video.

    I believe the Coleman is very similar in regards to the connection port and scanner. I could be wrong. I hope this helps.
