  1. Post a photo of what you have and I'll see if it matches any of my old photos see if I can help. Jeff
  2. joyner-usa.com will have them, they're the distributor in AZ. If all it did was shear the bolt, lucky you, replace the bolts with 12.9 grade allen heads from mcmaster-carr Do search for differential in this forum and you'll find lots of advice on differentials. you can also search mcmaster and you find the details on the replacement bolts and how to grind them down some for clearance. Jeff
  3. Interesting idea, how did you get a cut that was perpendicular and square enough to do that kind of a flip, I did the flip and re-drill on my yellow Trooper, but it was so long ago, I don't remember any of the details, guess I'll hit to photo archives. I've been eye-balling my "new Blue" and it doesn't look like any of the bolt holes line up at all and on my yellow, I had to drop the 2 bolts at the ends of the manifold and I used AN3 in the center hole, same as a 10-32, but military grade, worked fine and still working. If I do it that way again, I plan to weld some extensions on ends so I can have a place to put the bolts. Do either of you have any photos of how you did your manifold??? Thanks, Jeff
  4. I have this adapter for flipping the manifold over, but it looks like it would make it too high to close the engine cover. Has anyone used one of these and does it do what I fear? Thanks, Jeff
  5. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByQAhs0e-yF9bDZFdGtkemRkQVk&usp=sharing McMaster-Carr 40 28 to Full 25 96144A227• 8.33 You're right, I couldn't find it either, guess I ought to put it in parts & pieces
  6. buy some grade 12 allen head bolts and replace the grade 8 bolts, they shear off. It's in the forum. Jeff
  7. I'm selling my 08 1100cc Trooper and I was wondering what it would cost to have you do a complete engine rebuild, mostly so I can tell the new owner. I've also read that the headers were poorly designed on that years' model and I sure like the exhaust on my 2015, what would it cost for a better exhaust ? Thanks, Jeff PS can you post a photo of those wheel bearing shims and where they go?
  8. I have made it official, asking $3,300.00 for my Yellow Trooper with lots of mods and extras, https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0ByQAhs0e-yF9NHlfVjB0dUUxT3M&usp=sharing It's listed on KSL.com, maybe I ought to try craigs list???
  9. Here's another method for those of us that don't have a slide hammer, put the chain on as shown and with some slack in the chain, give it a yank, roll it around a bit and try it again, roll a bit more and repeat, again and again, http://www.utvboard.com/gallery/image/979-2187422630104282158sgqwax-fs/ any idea of how the damage around the pinion gear happened? when mine did that kind of damage, the shaft for the spider gears had slid out a ways because the set screw that holds it in had backed out. I used to have a bunch of photos of how to fix that problem and other stuff too. but I have no idea where I stored them. Good luck man. Jeff
  10. NBlackburn, Where are you located and what are your plans for your Trooper? What motor do you plan to put in and what other changes do you have in mind? Thanks Jeff
  11. Here's some more advice for ALL Joyner owners, pull you ECU out and open it, that is, remove the aluminum covers and see what the circuit board looks like. http://www.utvboard.com/gallery/image/1092-img-20160111-t2-computer-4/ Clean it up as needed and then put it back together and seal it. http://www.utvboard.com/gallery/image/1091-img-20160111-t2-computer-15/ I use ordinary silicone sealant, I did this to both Troopers, the new Trooper's ECU had some fine dust in it that had accumulated to the point I thought it was gasket material when I first opened it, but it rubbed off before I could photo it. I also put the ECU inside a plastic bag and seal the bag shut as best it can around the wires before remounting it. I really like those anti static bags that electronic parts come in. Jeff

  13. this is a PM I sent to Lugar32, just in case it may help someone else, he has an 08 that's missing it's fuse blocks and needs to replace them. http://www.utvboard....15-fuse-blocks/have you looked at this? What supplies do you have? such as wire and fuse block and fuses and such? I suggest a piece of aluminum such as a 3" x 36" x 1/4" bar or channel for mounting your fuses on, I suppose they took you blinker flasher too. I also suggest, 12 each, IFR4095 P channel FETs, 5K 1/4W resistor,4-40 screw, washer, lock washer, nut, Transistor Rubber Washer TO-220, Insulation Bushing TO-220 and MAYBE 12 2N2222 NPN transistors and 12 1K 1/4watt resistors. Do you have a place to get this or do you need a list to send to an on line seller? PS 1/4 watt or 1/8 watt or 1/10 watt resistors are ok, your choice Attached Thumbnails
  14. I would suggest you start a new thread, This one is 4 years old
  15. Webshots shut down long ago, sorry, I'll send you a PM
  16. Where is this Trooper located? PS. Do you want to buy mine and make one out of 2?
  17. Hi Silver bullet, may I suggest that you pay more attention to where you post your posts, the previous two posts certainly don't belong in the TECHNICAL ARTICLES IN THIS FORUM thread, where I moved them from. tnx Jeff
  18. Yes, Yearben brand, So far, they're doing great, didn't even try the stock shocks for comparison, I'm putting those on my 2008. Also had them swap out the deep lugged stock tires with General GRABBER AT 2 27X8.5R14LT. I haven't had a chance to put too many mile on these, but they've done well so far, so yea, thumbs up. Jeff
  19. Post a photo or two of what you have, 4 wires etc.
