Recommended Posts

If you look under UTV News and Information there's a topic about the recent Sema Show in Las Vegas, they have a really nice photo of the Arctic Cat. Its on one of the last pages of photos.

Cinda, the closest show we have got over here in NZ is the Big Boys Toys expo that was on over the weekend in Auckland. I have thought about have a stand there with the last two shows but as I have pointed out before, NZ is so far behind America with UTVs that 95% of Kiwis would not have a clue what one was. I would say within two and a half years it will take off, but until then it's off road Motor bikes and Quads. I found two UTVs at the show, no Arctic Cats but a Polaris RZR and a Kawasaki Teryx. The Kawasaki guy couldn't tell me if the Teryx had a carbi or was efi and the Polaris guy didn't know when the RZR-S would be imported or not. I am not have a go at the sales guys, just the opposite, it shows the reality in New Zealand that UTVs are not popular here yet and sales are flat. Photos added on webshots and the link is http://community.webshots.com/album/568718571tSrvaP .

Cheers Mike

I see a lot of people here who need parts for vehicles that are obsolete. Having been originally bought at places like tractor supply. And are no longer made.
These vehicles were made by a manufacturer that likely made several other brands. Might the parts for the other brands still be available? And will they interchange?
Even if they don't interchange with currently available parts. It would be helpful to know the original interchangeability. To make sourcing used parts easier.
I'd like to see a forum database of this information. A couple of charts ought to do it. We're seeing quite a few people looking for parts sourcing for stuff that really isn't that old. Yet no longer made.
Would there be any interest in having, and maintaining, and consolidating this information? It would have to be maintained, just to keep it concise, and uncluttered. Easy to understand, and navigate.
The members could contribute, but ultimately it would be the staff that would have to organize the information.

It seems like a perfect middle ground between the Kawasaki Mule Ranch Edition and the Polaris General 4 1000  .
But I can't find any reviews for this thing or who makes it's engine.
It looks great, seems like an awesome SxS, but would love some insight.  If you have any experience with this rig, please chime in.
      Thanks

Hi, all, I am here to say i have found an excellent source for kawasaki parts, It's run by  Eddie Babbit. It is called Kawasaki Partshouse. run by Babbits online, Muskegon Michigan. http://www.kawasakipartshouse.com/oemparts
Just the other day i ordered piston rings, for my Mule 550, They got here and a Oil ring, and smaller ring were missing from the box, Kawasaki took responsibility for the "Accident" and  I had also contacted babbits, and they replied and they said" keep the old rings, order a new set and you just pay shipping" so i got $30 piston rings for 8.95!!!? Free shipping on orders over $50!!!
