A hardy thank you to JG's UTV. He was able to get me an actuator and told me what it took to install it. He mailed it and it got to me fast. With his input I installed it with no hassle.

The only thing that was a bit surprising is there isn't a bracket on my Trooper for the bolt under the actuator. I made sure the other two were tight and I don't see the missing bolt as a problem.

Thanks again for every ones help.

My 4 wheel drive actuator has now failed also, took it apart and noticed that it has Artic Cat 4 WD OD Rev. A written on one end of it. Must have gotten some water in the box because there is rust on the motor and corrosion on the circuit board. Plan to figure out the schematic and repair it, so if any one has a dead unit laying around that I can borrow or have to help me figure this thing out, let me know, I may just up and rebuild it to my specs.

Kinarfi I would just do a manual lever swap on it, works out best in the long run

You may be correct, but what fun would that be? at least for me, took it apart, pulled a few components, took photos, cleaned, reassembled and it works, so I sealed it up with silicone and right now the silicone is curing. Seems it must have leaked some water in and corroded and the corrosion was side tracking the signal to go to 2 wheel drive.

Got it in and working, but now the winch in/out switch is sticking and that could ruin the day, so I got to fix that, will probably just replace the switches locally available toggle switches, maybe even relocated them and LED lites.

Hello. I have a 2016 Massimo MSU 500. I was putting on a lightbar and i screwed up and didn't disconnect the battery so when i was taking of the positive cable to put on the power from the lightbar it sparked and now the utv has no power. I turn the key over and all i hear is a chirp. No lights or anything. Everything that comes from the battery to the jumper box up by the battery shows voltage but anything coming out does not such as to the winch or anything like that

Hi everyone, I am new to the site and I have one question. My tilt steering wheel is locked in the upper position, and I was hoping for someone could help me with the problem. I did spray some WD 40 in the area of the mechanism but still wheel is locked in the upper most position. I am willing to try anything to get the wheel free and move to a lower position. Any ideas will be appreciated. Thanks!! and Be Safe!

Hello all. I have a 2005 Joyner sand spider 650 with the dreaded broken output shaft on the transmission. I got ahold of a 2007 joyner commando 650 for cheap that had a bad motor but a good transmission. I got it because everything i read said that the transmission would work but it seems that it will not. Due to the commando being 4x4 it has a selectable locker and a small ring gear using a "idler" gear to turn the ring gear which make the output spin the wrong direction. Is there any way that I can make this thing work? I really dont want a commando,  I like the buggy but if the trans wont work then I can only put my motor in the commando. Any help would be appreciated. I have the ring gear from the original trans but the shaft is broken and the shaft from the commando wont fit the ring gear it doesn't appear.
