2009 Ranger problem

I'm new to the forum and looking for help from anyone familiar with the Polaris Ranger XP 700. I have less than 5 hours on my UTV and haven't been able to ride more than 15 minutes without it shutting down and throwing code 21. Dealer said battery cable was lose but it still has same problem. Polaris says dealer must handle. Dealer says they cannot find anything wrong. Meanwhile I have had for 5 months and it doesn't work. Warranty is up next month. Maybe they will fix it when I have to pay. Pretty disgusted with the whole situation.

Contact your Better Bussiness Bureau and get the paperwork for the Lemon Law, we had to do it on a car once and Pontiac send me a new car (same model) our dealer had tried and tried to find out the problem with no success.

Is there another dealer you can take it to? Maybe another dealer can figure out the problem. Another solution is to drive it around the dealers lot until it does it since it happens in 15 minutes and have them explain it and fix it while you watch. They'll hate this especially on a Saturday when people are there looking to purchase, it just doesn't look good. Sometimes you just have to show that you mean bussiness.

The dealer has had my ranger for 2 weeks. Says they have replaced all 3 possible sensors and problem still exists. They are replacing wiring harness. Should be done next week. Some urgency!They are now sure this is problem.I don't think they have a clue. Next step is final attempt to talk to Polaris then BBB to find out options.

Sounds like your dealer is trying. Keep working with them on good terms as long as they are trying! I am pretty sure Toys & RVs are not covered by any of the Lemon Laws.

I'ld go ahead and contact the BBB so that you can have all the paperwork in hand and completed just in case you need it.

Got my ranger back last night. Spent an hour riding on roads then through woods and fields. Changed between 2 and 4 wheel on and off with no problems. Maybe the wiring harness was the problem. I plan to spend a lot of time over the next couple weeks making sure it is fixed and not just patched. So far so good. Thanks for everyones help.

      I have a 2021 Axis(Hisun) 700 from Lowes. Will not start. Checked starter, solenoid, spark plug and fuel pump. Everything seems to be fine. The motor turns over and will try to start but just will not. Battery is also good. Frustrated!

      Next problem with charging system to tackle, any help would be appreciated.
      New starter solenoid....check
      New Voltage Regulator...check.
      Dynamic test to Stator.....bang...pulling like 2 Volts AC
      Problem: Without pulling the part out and stranding the vehicle at the shop forever.... I am trying to find the correct stator or at least one that might not be exact for the Massimo Buck 400S, but fit and connect and do the job if that makes sense.... if anyone has any ideas, please shoot them my way.

      Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for a 2014 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work.

      I posted this before , but I had the year wrong. The part I need is for a 2014, I don't know what all years will work, but I need the 2 bearing style with the spacer in the middle. It looks like this pic. If anyone has one I'll buy it rite away. my email is [email protected]. Thanks, RC

      Hope I posted this in the right place. Looking for the left side shaft carrier where the rear bearings go for an 1100cc sand viper, I understand an 800 cc carrier will also work. I need the old style two bearing with the spacer in the middle, the new style with just the one wide bearing wont work. If anybody has one I'll buy it right away. my email is [email protected]

      I heard there's several off road festivals out that way. One or two post apocalyptic, the rest just rev and run. Anyone know a good one that offers camping? Any advice for out of state people like hauling, legality, and where to stay?
      Ideally me and the missus would be down for camping out and setting up shop somewhere nearby. That way we can just wake up, load up, and ride.
